I do enjoy the humour that comes from most LFC fans. Why do they believe that they are always right? The problem with the Gareth Barry transfer is that they thought that MON would agree to pay £12.5m for Cinderella Carson (always late for the ball) and when he failed to sign him the finances didn't add up. They then covered their tracks by claiming that Barry was overpriced. Remember £12.5m ask for a player they sold for £3.5m, and MON overpriced his captain. Barry will, I believe finally move to LFC in January at a greatly reduced fee but he will not be happy as one of Rata's bench warmers,. Who would? LFC can get the players that they want due to the massive traditions that Bill Shankly started, but they must realise that other clubs will not bow down and give away their best players. Finally, have LIVERPOOL FC been fair to Gareth Barry, have they broken any rules? 4 months down the line and Rata is now saying that he still wants him but the board are not backing him, A suspicion that Gerard may have encouraged Barry to jump ship before or during the England trip?.Somewhere there is a rat about. I wonder where?

To guy that said it doesn't matter whether Barry stays or leaves Villa as the club will remain a middle-ranking premier league team regardless. You might be right about that, but then MON has not spent nearly £200 million assembling a team that is the worst of the top 4. Liverpool barely even claim 4th spot and the teams below push your lot to the line every season. Imagine if every club had Liverpool's budget? Do you really think Liverpool would even figure in the CL? I doubt it, at least not with the clown you have in charge at the moment. Oh yeah, and I'm not a Villa fan, although I am fan of Villa's management style and the way that the club didn't allow Benitez to bully the club onto letting Barry go for less than his worth. Scott Carsen for £10 million, then surely Barry for £25 million!
Whether Barry comes to LFC or not it will do nothing to LFC .Villa will remain a middle table club with Barry or without.

Well Barry is not on his way to liverpool. However Rafa the gaffa is in talks with the chavs about Joe Cole. Now personally i'm not a fan of Cole, he's ball greedy & tends to like the regular dive in the box, copying his teamate drogs. Anyway this is a true story & all depands on them getting Robinho.

Arsenal Fans. I don't want us to be in the same position as last year with wenger saying look how well we did considering the youth of my squad. Thats not the point of arsenal football club, we are a team that should be gunning for trophies. We are becoming more and more like a stepping stone for young players who will then leave for "bigger" teams aka teams who will win trophies. Wenger needs to make at least two new signings before the end of August. A defensive mid, I don't know how much truth is in the Alonso rumour but that would be ideal, and a dominant centre back. I still don't understand why Wenger was too stubborn to go for Villa before the European championships. He wanted to come to Arsenal, and it would have been a bargain. His explanation being we have Bendtner? Sorry Nic but I don't see the comparison. We need a prolific goalscorer who is dangerous from anywhere. I don't see that in our forwards right now. Prove me wrong please. Arsenal to win the Carling Cup, that's all I see us winning this year with the squad we have as of now.

To the extremely illiterate Tottenham fan (see below) who claims that it is "obvious" that his club will break the top 4 next season, then get a grip of reality. Winning the Carling Cup and spending way over the top on a few players guarantees Jack Shite, if your lucky. Plus, you've just sold Keane and will be getting rid of Berbatov sometime soon. So which player is going to score your goals? And to claim that Everton as a club is on its way down is absurd in the extreme. It's not been a great summer at Goodison but the club is on the verge of bringing in at least 3 players, costing us in the region of £40m (please God)! Anyway, I usually like Tottenham supporters but I'll have to make an exception in your case.

With the transfer saga's about to be completed, we can all get down to what really matters, the game. Along the way we have witnessed the unrealistic attitude of Rafa, believing that MON would agree to a fee of £12 million for Cinderella (late for the ball) who was finally sold for an OTT price of £3.5 million and he having to pay the cash price for Gareth Barry. If he had offered £15 million + Carson then probably the deal would have gone through. Why is it that LFC always think that we care about them. The money spent this year is obscene and if Rafa fails to win the Prem. 2008/09 then another vacacy will exist. Even without Ronaldo the title is United bound followed by Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Man. City, Villa. Only teams dealing with 6 or seven players arriving will be in the mix at season end and this means multi Mills for the agents who do not care about the teams or the game.
The most delusional supporters on the rumour board has to be the Loopy Jungles that follow the Tic, God the vast majority of them are really starting to believe their own stupid sho1te postings, do they not realise they do not have the money to match the big boys in the transfer market, their just like the other part of the old infirm, a selling club and actually their not even good at that.
Which supporters are the most annoying in the EPL? My view is that the following two are absolutely ridiculous: (1) Liverpool fans (live off past glory and unable to accept that they are not supporting a big team now) ; and (2) Newcastle supporters (hopelessly deluded and considering the team has never even won a trophy in the past 50 years, even criminally insane). Oh yeah, and the most annoying and undignified manager is Rafa Benitez. King Kev, on the other hand, while a tad of a delusional romantic, at least exhibits some Decorum and class.

So as someone posted Rata will not conclude any business with MON as he thinks he was obstructive and thus sold Carson to WBA. The reason that Rafa will not do business with MON is because MON would not pay £12 million for a player now sold for £3.25 million. Rafa over priced Carson to try and get Barry cheap. No wonder MON was obstructive. Moves have been made to get Hoyte and Shorey on board asap and this could happen this week.
You got to laugh at all these Celtic fans that actually think there superior,was not that long ago the biscuit tin came out this time of the year and by all accounts looks like it still is. But to laugh at our transfer rumours about Gattuso then say in the next breath Bently will sign this week just makes me laugh so hard haha oh and pavluchenko or watever his name is and Robbie Keane,keep them comming happy hoops. I must agree with the statement that says Real Madrid are not a big club anymore. They are struggling for form, and have lost all style and flare in their team.
