All these comments on Liverpool wanting to buy everyone, are not going to happen, they had to take out a 31 million loan for Torres and Babel which they haven't paid back yet.

To all the Tottenham fans out there, yes we have finally got a decent coach but, and I cannot stress this enough, if we do not have Champions League football on offer, we cannot compete with the top 4. It's that simple.
The Lane

All you saying modric is going to your clubs are probably wrong as Redknapp has been tracking him for a while and he will be influenced by Niko Krancjar.

Sir Alfeck knows how to pick them, greatest British manager ever, just ask wee Jose.

German manufactured with a transatlantic drawl. I reckon Owen Hargreaves is made to look good by the quality around him. put him in Middlesbrough or even villa's side and I reckon He would be average. although he's increasingly looking like he can hit a freekick.

Parry has got to go:
Rick Parry has got to be given the sack by the owners of Liverpool F. C, Liverpool have not won a league title in the 10 years at the club. He has not backed any manager at Anfield with the necessary transfer funds. He comes across very arrogant on camera, and Rafa and the fans have just found out he attended the meeting where Klinnsman was offered the job, which Parry lied about being present. He must not know a great deal about football because it is widely known Klinnsman is at the start of his career, he has only managed Germany, and won nothing, Rafa has a huge trophy cupboard –6 trophies in four years (Wenger has only won 7 in 10 years.), and 2 La liga titles and a Spanish cup. Suddenly Hicks and co do not look so bad.
Rob

Has anyone else noticed more and more utter rubbish being posted on this once reliable site? I still do not understand why people basically think of a few transfers of the top of there head, send them in hoping people believe them. Stop wasting your and more importantly our time.
A few examples of utter rubbish from the last couple of days is: Flamini moving for £12 million, he is out of contract in the Summer, so he has TWO choices leave on a free in the Summer or sign a new contract. Micah Richards is not going Arsenal this Summer, he will cost around £25 million due to him being a top prospect and it's not as if Manchester City need the money. When was the last time Wenger spent that sum of money on a defender anyway. Diego to Manchester City, you are kidding. He is one of the best Brazilian players on the market, miles better than Elano, and is being scouted by Real, Milan, Inter, Arsenal and Chelsea, I do not think Svens Manchester City is that appealing when compared to the big boys. Henry are not going to the Premiership in the Summer, he is likely to go to Italy or another Spanish team, will he really want to go to Newcastle or Manchester City, come to our clubs, we are not got no European football but we will be pushing for a top ten finish, I do not think Thierry will be interested in that rubbish. In the newspapers Keegan has stated he will sign 5 top draw players, is he for real? How can you tempt big name players to St. James these days, the likes of Deco, Bentley, Hunterlaar and Modric will not want anything to do with Keegan, Mike Ashley or Peter Ramage. Keegan will not doubt try and sell the club to players because of the ‘Amazing fans' who come to St. James week in week out, have not won anything for years, and will not for a long time. Let's try and keep a sense of reality on this forum, please.
Thanks, Rob.

. OH do not wade in son, seriously do not bother. there is no telling some people. 'the example of Lennon and Chelsea show where your allegiance lay'. 'Lennon had a succesful career at Celtic. '. what does any of that mean? how is that got anything to do with a) an Arsenal mentality and b) whether religion factors in football? he's turned it into a race war and gone wide of the Mark on every point. he does not actually counter any argument he just comes out with sayings about thames fishing. it's like having a discussion with a poisonous David brent. or at best an autistic seven year old. he could not even grasp that I used his mother to try and fish out HIS deep seeded problems. to him that was just 'insulting his mother'. do not tell him to read between the lines because he does not know what the lines are. I think he just wants to be a motorway protestor. I guarantee you this guy never watches football unless it's on sky or motd. just ignore the simpleton and get back to the real issue of the day. is Owen Hargreaves actually a German manufactured robot?

In all fairness mate it looks like youre the one who does not have a point. just dodgy campaign slogans after his posts. you joker. the gooner's right, and you resorted to insults first by the look of this. people are just saying there is a religious issue in football unfortunately. and to you that means racism. totally different things. person.

owen 'the German' Hargreaves

Regarding the dhim gooner.

Cast the line and draw them in, there is always one big gob will take the bait or as they say in the west coast, if you fish in the Thames, you'll always get a wee bit of sh*** on your hook. L. o. l.
I am bored now, will have to go. (Snigger)
F. W. P. FOR W. A T P.

Re: The Dhim gooner. Pathetic sad bigot, who resorts too verbal abuse of someones mother, when their tiny brain fails too function, but I will excuse your childish ramblings and put it down to the fact your just a sad loser, who follows a team that will again win NO trophies, so sad (snigger).
F. W. P. Kick Racism and Bigotry OUT.

To the dhim F. W. P guy.

how am I a sad excuser? I said I do not condone it. can you read? my point was you should not have a go at someone on here for being racist if all theyve done is simply point out that, unfortunately, racism and religion factor in the game. and what team do you think I support, because I think, as you can see from the post below your last one, I am a gooner (for what it's worth Arsenal have the highest proportion of black fans in britain). seeing as you made some assumptions about me, ill take a stab aswell. are you one of these glory supporting man u/Liverpool fans who lives in surrey/Scotland that spends his whole day on forums like this and never ever actually goes to footy? because if a bit of religion and racism has caused you to act like this, youve never stood in the stands or terraces in your life. (is your mum one of these anti paedo activists that attack people with the same name as local pests without actually checking if theyre the same person by the way? seeing as your on some sort of crusade on here where no one is actually saying anything racist, I think that is probably a fair estimate) you have just started a row with me when all I did was point out you're a seriously naive idealist if you think religion does not influence certain aspects of football E. g the old firm/Chelsea's (historically) racist element. this makes me a racist everyone go and read the s*n. you absolute joke

Are Bolton, Tottenham and Everton out of UEFA Cup? oh sorry of course they are, but never mind the first coming of 'ANTI– FOOTBALL' will be arriving in Manchester soon. The greeks have tried, the Germans have tried, the portuguese have tried. What Italians? Bring on Zenit in the final.

Re: The dhim bloke posting.
Going by your personic post ramble, the conclusion is, you were behind the door, when the thought process was handed out, I suggest if you are going to comment on something, please have the intellect to read up on ALL facts, of the said subject and post an unbiased view, which it seems, you certainly did not do. The examples you use,ie. Lennon and Chelsea, show where YOUR allegiance lie, therefore I come to the conclusion that you are just another sad excuser who does the Nelson when it comes too the bigoted/racist
views of some fans, who support the team, you follow.
F. W. P. and KICK RACISM AND BIGOTRY Out OF SPORT.

To this 'chapperz' geezer;

your dates for when the players you have named arrived at Arsenal are basically completely wrong. it seems everything has been moved forward a year eg. Reyes was actually purchased in 2004 not 2005 (using Reyes as an example again that was a January transfer and you said you excluded January transfers). check YOUR facts before you annihilate robs.
from Neil Lennon's best mate not timothy (see religion/race war, below)
gooner

Oh and again re: the Neil Lennon/religion issue. I am not this dhim timothy bloke youre on about, I read the discussion you were having down the page.

To the guy re. Neil Lennon and the issue of religion/politics in football. I used the example of him (being a catholic) playing for Celtic (a traditionally catholic club). that is was useless, a better example is the issue of him being made captain of northern ireland. certain people were outraged a catholic had been made captain of N. ireland. some even went as far as to issue death threats (but I thought this had happened when he signed for Celtic aswell which is why I originally said that but I might be wrong). it's just the whole catholic/protestant issue coming to the fore in football where it's probably not best discussed. another more recent example would be avram Grant reportedly recieving death threats from Chelsea fans for being jewish, Chelsea historically have a notorious racist/right wing element. the point I am making is that if you say religion is an issue in football on here, it's not narrowminded (unless you condone it/believe it yourself), it is just the way it is, rightly or wrongly, you can decide for yourself. I am pretty sure the guy you flew off the handle at was just making the point that it exists in football.

Look what happened to Neil Lennon? (Duh.) As far as I am aware, he became very successful after he joined Celtic, so pray tell me, what is your point.
F. W. P. and KICK RACISM AND BIGOTRY OUT.

Another Timothy posting. Bringing up religion, when are you small minded BIGOTS going to realise that religion has nothing to do with footie or any type of sport, all I can say is, some parents have a lot too answer for, fact. it is only a game and ones religious beliefs or persuasion should not enter into any type of sport, END OF.
Why. please tell me, are Celtic supporters so interested in ones religious beliefs?
W. A. T. P.? = WHY ARE THEY PARANOID?

To the bloke questioning whether being irish catholic bars you from being a Rangers fan. the tradition is that Rangers are a protestant club and Celtic are catholic. that is not a bigoted outlook from whoever posted. it's just the way it is. look at what happened when Neil Lennon signed for Celtic

Benitez suddenly are not so bad:

After all the talk of unrest and disappointment at Anfield, Rafa and Liverpool seem to be chugging along nicely. With Liverpool failing to meet it's early season expectations, the media, pundits and many fans believed Benitez was on borrowed time. Where as Wenger, his opponent, is 'un–touchable, the great professor who can do no wrong, in his tenth year at the Gunners. The flowing football is a joy to watch, however 7 trophies in 10 years is not that amazing, especially when compared to Rafas 6 in four year. It has been easy for some to criticize him for early season rotation of his match winners, however
When seeing Arsenal's jaded stars in the last 30 minutes of the game against Rafas boys took a hammering, Benitez methods do not look so mad after all. Rafa has taken Liverpool to two Champions league finals, no current Premier League manager has done so, up until Torres arrived his highest spend on a player was Kuyt for 10 £mill
(Cisse was a Houllier transfer), he has made a few bad signings, but the money involved is not nothing when compared to United and Chelsea. Liverpool look on course for another Champions league final, the board need to decide what there expectations for the next three years, do they want to really challenge for the league. So then they need to give him a war chest, after all, Man United won the league last season and spent 70 million in the Summer to stay on top. If Hicks and Gillet want success they need to invest in 2 or 3 top drawer players. If they want to fight for 4h place they should Carry on as they are. If they decide to sack Rafa in the Summer then the big question is who they will replace him with, realistically. Is Jose really interested at the moment, is O'Neill really ready to leave Villa yet, who else is going to achieve what Rafa does with the current squad. I do not think so. The only guarantee in football is consistency in management always brings success eventually. Look at Fergie, he was a game away from the sack at Man United all them years ago. What ever happens the job Rafa has done under the circumstances are not that bad after all.

Thanks,Rob (W. N. w's)

Do not you get sick of the scousers going on about DIC more like DIC–K bye the way Liverpool have just signed a new shirt deal OXO " Laughing stock

Right as an Arsenal fan I am losing faith in Wenger. It looks as though it will be four years wiht out a trophy and it does not look as if he will spend. His time may be up. We are now a trully big club with the money to compete with Man United and Chelsea. So why continue with the teenagers. No more excuses Mr Wenger the moneys there the success is not you do not have an option at the moment you eaither spend or walk.

In response to the obviously not too intellectual kid on Rangers fan. we are the people.what does that mean? plastic paddies.yet again what does that mean?. what a fountain of knowledge you must be when it comes to football. it is no wonder your club came under scrutiny in world football when people like yourself come out with such drivvle. so any valid comments to make on the fact that your club is in 3 competitions in Scotland? wooh.after all there are only two clubs competeing and the fourth tournament being the rejects from Europe. my my the g16 clubs must really be sitting up and taking notice at the amazing run Rangers have had. who of any quality have you played exactly? get off your high horse, this so called plastic paddy with no irish connections whatsoever saw exactly what everyone else in the world seen on Saturday. 1. Kevin Thomson taking a blatant dive 2. a pathetic game of football from a collection of pathetic players. remove your blue tinted spectacles and look at the big picture,no one cares what people you think that you are whatever that has to do with the game. your a rubbish team in a rubbish league who will never mount a serious challenge in European football. get over it

To the pathetic dhim timothy questioning whether David Moyes was a Rangers fan in his boyhood (note spelling) and stating that his parents are off Irish/catholic stock, SO WHAT? does being Irish and catholic, bar you from being a Rangers fan? ifso, what a BIGOTED outlook on life and why the Mods. of Football Rumours, allow such religious shoite to be published beggars belief.
