To the person that said McGeady will only leave for £10m. I've got news for you, mate. If that is his price, he'll be going nowhere. The only club to have expressed an interest in him is Stoke, and they were looking at paying £3m (which includes the various add ons), which probably reflects his real value. Don't mistake looking good in the SPL as meaning that that would translate to the EPL. Look at it this way, many English league 3 players look good when they play against other players from that division. Do you understand where this is going?

CELTIC RUMOURS: Contrary to what some ill-informed posts are saying, Celtic DO NOT have to sell anyone because of the "credit crunch", unlike the blue team from Govan. If McGeady or Boruc or anyone leaves, it'll be for other reasons. Boruc definitely and McGeady probably will stay at Celtic at least until the summer, and if/when they do go, Boruc will cost in the region of £8m and McGeady will cost over £10m, so people claiming they'll be sold for less than that don't know what they're talking about. With the informal partnership between the clubs, FC Barcelona could take a look at McGeady and possibly take him to the Camp Nou on loan to see how he fits in. They remember him giving Puyol a hard time in the Champions League last year and he was unplayable against Villareal last month, so it's not impossible but I wouldn't bet on it. Darren O'Dea is unlikely to be loaned out since Strachan wants 4 centre backs in the first team squad. Birmingham City and possibly other clubs will try again to sign Bobo Balde on a free, but expect him (yet again) to knock them back and take another £750k out of Celtic by seeing out his contract. Donati will almost certainly return to Italy for £1m this month, and his preference is his old club Atalanta. Killen will be allowed to leave on loan or for around £400k if anyone's interested. Don't expect any major first team signings, although Celtic continue to monitor James McCarthy at Hamilton (McCarthy to Ranger?? I think you mean James McARTHUR people!!) and Hermann Hreidarsson could be signed from Portsmouth to fill the problem left back spot for around £500k.

To the Scotchman that reckons that Scotch football, with the exception of England's Sky 4, is the equal of Ebglish football, get a grip. There isn't a team in the whole of the Scotch premier league that would even be comfortable in the English premier league. Firstly i'd like to thank Walter and his team for the rapid and successful change in club form since PLG.
Speaking as a "serious" fan north of the border (Inverness), i have followed the club since 1976 (age 5), although only ever visiting Ibrox once. (father hates football, and my jobs have always consisted of weekend work).
I'm starting to lose my hair now, just like Ally, and probably for the same reason!!! Frustration!! lol.
January transfer window is looming now, and lets hope Mr Murray loses his wallet and Walter finds it!!! lol. After watching the latest Old Firm game, i feel we're only a few players away from a consistent run of winning form.(my thoughts).
I'd like to see the defence shored up, with Robbie Neilson of Hearts at right back, Lee Wilkie of Dundee UTD in the centre, and although Sasa has been consistant, but not outstanding at right back, what about Mulgrew of Aberdeen?.
In midfield, i'd luv to see Craig Bellamy come into the left hand side. We've been lacking severe quality since Davie Cooper, Niel McCann and Peter Inconsistent Lovenkrands. another player i've watched frequently and highly rate is Lareya Kingston of Hearts. Front pairing of Boyd and Miller is the best since McCoist and Hately.
Just like every other Rangers fan, i hope Mr Murray's wallet is bursting!!! lol.
Once again i'd like to thank you all for the rapid improvement and lets hope we are crowned Premier League Champions 2008/2009.

How anyone can think that Aiden Mcgeady could possibly move to Stoke, and for a paltry sum of £4 mill is beyond me. He is Celtics most gifted player, and would not be allowed to leave Celtic for less than £8 mill, and I could not see him leaving for any team outside the top 4 in England, or a top european side.
