I wish certain Rangers fan would stop thinking that they and they alone are the only Rangers fan in the world, about the article about barry ferguson only making suggestion to LeGuen well guess what Fergie is a player not the manager and that's what Le Guen got payed for so Fergie should shut the hell up and try become the player he thinks he is he will never be as good as the likes of McCall Tervor Steven or Ray Wilkins so Fergie do you job son and get on with it I think most fans would like him to leave he is a bad influence att he club calls himself a captain what a joke.

No matter what carragher issue, this season Liverpool defence had been a nightmare. This is the worst team I ever seen. They need to spend big on several players.
With Rafa eyes. I don't think he has got any good deal.

In relation to the carragher issue. I agree he played a role in the CL campaign in 04/ 05 but not a major one. He defended well in the group stage and in some other games. But the final he was shocking.

Anyway back to the point he may not have neen rubbish 2 years ago but right now its obvious he has lost something about his game. ANd i agree he needs to be on the bench andd Lucas neill is a much better player then him

1st of all shocking display of defending in the final let 3 goals in the 1st half!!!!
In the group Stage they had some pretty average clubs - monaco,olympiacos and depritivo no big standout club. Only came 2nd equal on points with olympiacos who came 3rd.
Faced another average team in leverkusen and the germans scored 1 goal in each game. Nothing Carragher shopuld be proud of. Played a teram above liverpools class played well. went through 2-1 on aggerate.
The only game carragher gave man of match preformences when they beat chelsea. and of course the game carragher showed his real class 3 goals in 45 minutes. lol what a player.
And what are you tlkin about when you say without him you wouldnve won the CL what did he do to win you any games??? Dont bring up any clean sheet bussiness because that's down to 5 players. gk and deefneders.

Barry Ferguson is a top quality player, the reason that the Blackburn period did not go well for him was that he broke his knee-cap in three places, when he came abck to gers he still wasn't fit. He is definately EPL class, look at all the clubs that have been linked to him since the PLG fall-out. He won't be going anywhere though and is one of the most talenting passers and can read the game like no other.

I have to say that Jamie Carragher is rubbish. Why is he starting for us? i hope we sign lucas neill so we can have a decent defender. our starting line up should be -

gk - reina
rb - new signing that is either alves,cicinho,richards
cb - neill
cb - agger
lb - riise
rm - luis garcia
cm- gerrard
cm- alonso
lm- kewell { need him fit }
st- kuyt
st- hopefully some one good if not bellamy

I think that the next big thing out of ireland will be alan o'brien and will make his way to the newcastle squad in years to come

The reason PLG left was because he had a terrrible record in the SPL(Beaten by Caley Thistle and Falkirk!), made appalling signings (Sebo, Ndaye, Papac, Svensson. "Boo Hoo, he had no money to get better players" He still managed to spend 1.8 million on Sebo!) couldn't handle the Scottish culture and had no idea who his best players were(Letizi ahead of Allan McGregor?). Barry Ferguson was the straw that broke the camel's back. And all the simple-minded cretins that think Ferguson and Boyd should go are kidding themselves, BF is by far our most talented player and even though Boydy is the laziest player on the planet he scores a hideous amount of goals. I'm glad to see the back of the inept Frenchman and hopefully some of his dud signings will follow, follow him out the door. Good Riddance.

At least someone agrees with me that Stevie T is a top quality player - I have known about him since he was a young lad at the academy and even then you could see what a prospect he was becoming. I watched Soccer Saturday where he also got recognition, with all the panellists saying that although the Toon have some great young defenders, Taylor is still the cream of the crop.
Ramage is another half decent player but I don't really think that Huntington can make it to the top because he is too casual on the ball and makes the odd error (Not like Titus though!)
I have loved watching Nobby at right back and I feel that with his pace draining out of him and Steven Carr being a total waste of time and effort, that he could become 1st choice left back. However I have not been impressed by the form of captain Scott Parker because I feel that his heart is not in it anymore and that should we get the right price, he should be gone in the Summer.

Ins I'd love to see :-
1) Wayne Bridge (Babayaro can't even tackle)
2) Matthew Upson (Perfect partner for Taylor)
3) Nigel Reo-Coker (Replacement for Parker)
4) Peter Crouch (Perfect for Owen/ Martins)

I know every one says that the next big players out of england are micah richards and walcott but i think that steven taylor has got to be one of the biggest things that will come out of england in the next couple of years he is the glue that is holding newcastle's back 4 together at the mintue

PLG leaving Rangers is a disgrace, this is the worst decision possible by David Murray as it in effect shows his backing for Barry Ferguson. the only solution is for Murray to rid Rangers of the overpaid prima donnas Ferguson, Boyd and McGregor. no sensible manager will touch this job if he has to answer to the Directors AND Barry Ferguson! Ferguson showed his true talent in his "successful" spell with Blackburn.

I think the next big prem stars will be obviously lennon, richards and walcott if they're not stars already. And i think terry dixon of spurs who got called up to the ireland squad at 16 will be great also i hear chelsea have a guy whos ment to be the next terry(can't remember name) and Onouha and that other city youngster look good.

Mourinho team are now playing panic football, urgent for goals and rushin for defence. This will only make some of his players extreme fatigue expecially with ChanpionsLeague and FAcups coming up.

Does anyone actually listen to Mourinho, i can't stand it how he keeps raving on about how chelsea will still win the premiership. Man Utd have been consistant throughout last years while chelsea have proven t the world with there poor performances that they are no longer unbeatable.
