With Jack Buttland joining the Potters in the summer and Scezsny's inconsistent form the deal could help sway Asmiir to the gunners. Walsall have rejected Huddersfield's bid of £500,000 for Jamie Patterson, the club will only consider letting him leave the club for 2M as he is under contract and is a key player for their promotion bid this year.

The club are waiting for Fabian Brandy and Will Grigg to return from the holiday next week before agreeing new contracts.

Walsall have turned down a bid from championship side Huddersfield for winger Jamie Paterson, whilst a surprise name linked with the club is that of veteran striker Jamie Cureton who is set to leave Exeter City with Will Grigg and Febien Brandy yet to sign contracts. James Chambers is set to sign a new deal with the saddlers though.
