I'm a Liverpool fan and even I've got to say that the comment about Man U being 3rd rate is utterly ridiculous.Vidic and Rio is easily the best defensive partnership the prem has seen in 5 years,Neville is showing himself to be one of the top right backs in the world,so far making,erm......zero costly mistakes all season,Van der Sar is the best keeper in the prem in Cech's absence,Giggs has been tormenting everyone (except on Saturday),Ronaldo is the best winger in the world at the moment (before anyone says "but ronaldino is beter lol",I'm talking about this season and all Ronaldinho has done is score one good overhead kick and a clever free kick-if you watch Spanish footy you'd know he has been rubbish this season),and Rooney and Saha have been the best striker force in the division this year.Yeah,Carrick has been rubbish but no worse than Ballack and Rosicky.
being a utd fan i really do love eric the king but surely peter schmeichel should be top of the best signings ever, he was the best in the world for a number of years. can anyone name a better keeper??? you would have to think very hard to be able to. no disrespect to anyone else.

Dont get me wrong , Capello has turned real madrid to a excellent defensive team, but its jus dat there is always dat last minute thing wich ruins them. Take da loss to Celta 4 instance.They cudve been at the top of da league rite now!.playin at home, Celta goin thru a ruff patch, and they lose 2-1. and da lose and tie to Lyon. They need to be more inspired and proud 4 playin 4 the best team in the worlds history(dats a fact :72 major titles).Capello has done well, and most of his signings hav been efficient,Diarra(can score goals and defend well)Van Nistlerooy(absolute scoring machine)Reyes(inspired at times to wear the white shirt)Cannavaro(not playin at world cup-form the but still a very important player 4 the merengues). Only Emerson has underperformed but i guess he didnt sign to be a first team player... Also y shud ppl rate him VERY VERY highly if he won titles at the Delle Alpi with da match-scandal incident, i mean surely Ian Dowie wudov won titles wit Juve if da ref was always on the black and white uniforms side. Why do all the scousers think theyre gonna be richer than Chelsea, Madrid and man U?? Firstly, the cluc has not even been sold yet, secondly, if it is sold, it will be a corporate takeover. A business venture. Not some fun toy thing like Abramovic/Chelsea or King of Spain?Real Madrid. This means, and this is really important, it will be run like a business. Do not expect big money transfers or loads of cash suddenly sloshing around the place. The first thing the "new owners" will do (if they buy) is a new stadium. This will mean, potentially, the new owners will be prepared to undergo a lean period in terms of on the field performance. They may well be linked with one of the richest men in the world, but its his corporation/business that is making the purchess. So expect a "balanced books" approach, similar to that of the Glazers at Man U.
