2 the geezer who asked if we think footy stars get paid 2 much.............. well in my humble opinion i dont think they r made 2 much its just like in every other profession if ur good at ur job u get the best salary ie a good chef gets good money whereas a bad chef is flippin burgers in burger king innit if ur good at summat then u shd get rewarded n lets not 4get that a lot of these footy players do loads 4 charity only the other day thierry henry earned a 4tune 4 bob wilsons charity n its more than just a normal 9-5 job 2 u think of all the travellin the hard work n trainin required 2 maintain there peak physical condition n finally theres no pension fund in a career that generally ends when ur in ur 30s u got the rest of ur life 2 either find a new career or liv on what u hav earned already plus if ur injured at a younger age ur outta of ur trained profession so im all 4 players gettin what they deserve tho i hav 2 admit that i wdnt pay lampard n e thing what a waste of space he is oh n ashley coles wages r spent on mobile fone top ups lol *****NEO*****

Begining of the season all I heard was spurs are gonna do this spurs are gonna do that spurs spurs spurs!!! The only thing spurs hav done is sell ther best player nd become half the team they were last season??? 1 season wonder team u will be bak 2 ur usual position this season mid table!!!

To the person who said chelsea are going to win again this year,are u mistic meg or sumat?? the EPL can be won by anyone, with arsenal gettin back in form, united looking great and liverpool getting better its there to be won by whoever wants it the most.

But the majority are not because they dont just play football once a week.. they also have to train watch what they do in public,avoid going out to clubs on match weeks, watch what they eat.. etc.etc.

I am a man utd fan and i would just like to say to peple going on about the scholes rooney bans , give it a rest. players dont get banned for no reason ! rooney needs to control his temper .
and i would also like to say to peeople who believe a team is carried by one player for example when rooney was away man utd won all matches first match he comes back we lose to arsenal. oh and also to arsene wenger just because arsenal beat man utd doesnt make them the best team in the prem and it doesnt mean they have more of a chance of winning it !!!

In reply to the geordie lad who wrote that chelsea bought the title, i would like to say this. In the first instance Chelsea have brought some of the best players from around the world to the premiership. Also in John terry we have one of the best central defenders in the world and he was from the youth academy of Chelsea. I would also like to add that Newcastle are a big club who have always underachieved simply because they cannot attract world class players who only have to look at the current squad to see this and jealousy will get you no where

think if Man U fan werent obsessed with every other team they might be able to be real supporters.cryin bout the money chelsea spendin... havin scholes and rooney out (not that scholes is good now),complainin bout liverpool.... it goes on and on.
if only you could concentrate on your own team, maybe the yanks wouldnt have come, maybe you could have made more signings... just maybe..

I am a Chelsea fan and I agree with the geordie boy who wrote in bout Chelsea buyin the title! 20 years ive been watchin Chelsea football club and we were a more honest british team before Abramovich came!

The main thing is not about who wins the premier league but to see how chelsea react if they dont win it.. for my views if they dont improve from last season than another 100m pounds will have to spend again.. 100m for 07/08, 08/09 10/11 .... 10 season 1b.. even they win premier league 10 times also not enough to cover up.. its the same as you are playing Championship manager once you have all the players what else can them spend?? build another stadium or build another chelsea at spain?? that is what we want is a 100 yrs Rome and not 3 years.. First-West Ham u aint neva gonna win the title ur a mid table team if that?
Second-Chelsea will win the title so liverpool arsenal nd man utd fans giv it a rest bout winnin titles u will hav 2 fight 4 2nd place!
Third-Aston Villa uve got a decent manager now but hes not a miracle worker! Top ten. maybe?.
Fourth-Newcastle have 1 of the best midfields in the league but r in desperate need of a striker wi quality hopefully martins is the answer time will tell?
Fifth-From 2nd position downwards the league will brilliant this year all teams r capable of beatin each other! As 4 top spot u must love the fact uve bought ermm won the title again this season already, WELL DONE!

Hehe. It seems Liverpool are still on course for taking the title off Chelsea. Oh wait, beaten by Everton. Oh well, can't win them all.

Liverpool are one man, Steven Gerrard, and he can't play well every week (he's not Rooney after all). They also have way too many ordinary players (Zenden, Pennant, Garcia, Crouch, Aurellio, and Gonzales has hardly made a big impact.)

Arsenal are also struggling big time, thus it seems clear that Utd are the only challengers to Chelsea.




Anyone else think Lampard should be dropped for England? He had a rubbish world cup, and he's hardly setting the Prem alight this seaon. There's no logic to keeping him in, moving Gerrard to accomodate a weaker player. As usual, the southern press has a ridiculous hold over an England manager.

True about the fee, most probably free. But important point of note - Abramovic has no formal links with MSI whatsoever. The Iranian dude, Kia Joorabchian or something, is the front man, backed by a bunch of investors, one of which is Boris Berezovsky, who used to be Abramovic's mentor and business partner, which is where the supposed link lies. They fell out a long time ago over the whole Sibneft thing and havn't done business since. I think people maybe think Berezovsky and Abramovic are the same person or something?However, Abramovic is not an investor and has been investigated about his aledged links to MSI by several authorities operating under several juristictions, and nothing, that's NOTHING has been found, no ownership rules have been broken. Furthermore it's more likely MSI might take over WH, rather than Tevs and Mascherano leaving in summer, I can see them challenging for the title in 2-5 years. Finally, that's "rough shod" not "shot", and easy there moany moanerson!

Saha was totally wrong although Ruud score alot of goals but he had to go because he is the one who really destroy the flow of the manU Attack.. his shooting is accurate but act too slow.. look out for the score board from this seanson, there will be more scorer than lone scorer scores..
