john terry isn't an average defender,if he is,who exactly do u consider to be a class act.granted theres better defenders but not in the premiership.first and foremost,hes there to snuff out the danger.block shots and make last ditch challenges,not spread 40 yd passes.hes not that bad on the ball and knocks it around freely and more often than not accurately.if he has looked a little bit iffy this season then its because hes missing gallas,he cant do it on his own back there and without gallas,chelsea dnt look half as good at the back as they used to.terry is probably chelseas 1st name on the team sheet.average....yeah course he is.
