Still griping even though i gave your teams the kudos they deserve? Well. . I never. There are some bitter fans on this site aren't there. Its the same old offenders too, not naming any names. These people though are the same people who write make believe "wish lists" for their clubs claiming they will join in Jan or the summer (done deal, blah blah) and post them on here. Any fool can do that! I dont know how Liverpool are going to sign, Aguero for instance. Honestly, if you couldnt buy G.Barry (25 million was it) in the summer, you wont be able to afford Aguero (who must be worth dunno, 30-40 million. Not peeing on your parade here, just being honest. My Toffees couldnt afford Moutinho in the Summer and we wont be able to afford him in january. Next summer he will join a club who can pay his transfer fee and the wages he deserves. We cant do either. Every club will be tightening the purse strings. Dont you watch the news? GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISIS LOOMING. Chairmens purse strings will be pulled tighter than a ducks arse now. Even City wont just throw money around, I know people think they will, but business is business, and we all saw what happened to chelsea when they got took over. The rumours suggesting Arsenal are interested in Appiah seem to be well wide of the mark.Why would Wenger go for Appiah now when he has been available for free for the last 2-3 months? unless it is because the team are struggling,in part, due to the lack of an Appiah type player, or is it because he (or the Board)are only interested in youngsters that can be picked up on the cheap and then sold on a few years later for a healthy profit,irrespective of the team's performance. To the person saying Norwich will be relegated to their part in match fixing, I have heard quite otherwise. Apparently, Roy Carroll is up to his eyeballs in gambling debts and he was the one who got sent off deliberately. As far as Derby still winning that match, you only have to look at Norwich's history of playing against 10-men to realise it was no surprise - the most recent being a 1-0 loss to QPR, when they had a player sent off after only 25 minutes. The team is just rubbish and likely to get relegated anyway!

On the west ham "president" (maybe precedent?), that is nonsense. firstly, the compensation payable by west ham to sufc is compensation to an injured party, not a penalty being imposed by the premier league. 2ndly, spurs were docked points and then reinstated by the FA not the premier league. 3rdly, luton have unsuccessfully appealed their docked ponts on this basis already. . that would be your precedent. wh's only hope is to succeed in appeal to cas and have the ruling overturned (well, that or to quietly negotiate an out of court settlement).

I am afraid that I do not have any rumours to post about Man City, I do not know any body who works at eastlands who does the finances or signs the cheques but what I think is that Mark Hughes is not overly keen on Elano, he wants good players who would die for the team and I don't think he puts Elano in that category, so I expect him to go to Inter Milan in the Summer.

Also, is it me or is Jo not really that good? £18 mil is a lot of cash to spend on someone who so far has failed to impress!
