Hibs sign goalie Yves Makabu-Ma-Kalambay from Chelsea.
The 21 year old has agreed a 3 year deal and arrives at Easter Road on July 1.
Boss John Collins had hoped to recruit the young keeper back in January however the player was recalled by Chelsea to cover for injuries to Petr Cech and Carlo Cudicini.
The goalkeeping position was a problem area for Hibs over the last few seasons, with Simon Brown, Zbigniew Malkowski and current keeper Andy McNeil all making high profile blunders.
Collins was thrilled to land his 5th signing of the summer, telling the club's official website, 'We were all very impressed by Yves when he came to Easter Road in January and had hoped he might join us at that point. However, Chelsea required him to return as back up and we had to be patient. He is again a young signing for us however of terrific potential. He is a good height for a goalie at 6ft 5in tall and is very strong and athletic, in fact he has all the attributes you would expect to find in a player in that position. It mentioned that much for his qualities that he was on the verge of playing in the Champions League, and I have little doubt that, had he been called upon to do so, he could have done himself justice. It is perhaps to our advantage that he did not play in that game. Had he done so, we might never have had an opportunity to bring him to Easter Road. He has benefited from world class coaching at Chelsea under Silvino Lauro however such is the quality of goalkeepers at Chelsea there is little opportunity for 1st team football and at this stage in his career that is what Yves is seeking. Yves will continue to develop at our club and have every opportunity to reached his full potential, something that I am confident he will achieve.'

Celtic have discarded an approach from Norwich City for the permanent transfer of David Marshall, as stated by the goalkeeper's agent, Willie McKay.
"He has a year of his contract still to run and Celtic are ready to offer him a new deal," McKay informed BBC Sport.
Marshall recently tabled a transfer request after spending the 2nd half of the season on loan with Norwich.
And the Championship club are thought to have been willing to pay up to £500,000 for the 22 year old.
That kind of fee would scare off Hibs should speculation linking the Edinburgh club to Marshall be correct.
Hibs manager John Collins is seeking to solve his goalkeeping problems after Andrew McNeil, Zbigniew Malkowski and Simon Brown failed to impress during the season.
Celtic paid £100,000 to Inverness Caledonian Thistle for Mark Brown in January as cover for Artur Boruc at the same time as they farmed out Marshall.
The Scot was, at the time, assured of his long term future at Celtic Park, with manager Gordon Strachan saying he would like him to gain more 1st team experience.
Marshall played 5 times for Norwich before an ankle injury cut short his season in February.
But manager Peter Grant was suitably impressed with the player on loan from his former club to make an offer.
And Marshall is keen to continue his career in England as he attempts to win back his place in the Scotland squad.
