to turn up.
Feb 26 2003: Wolves have signed 18
year old Australian goalie Adam Federici until the end of
the season on a non-contract basis.
Feb 12 2003: The Evening Standard today reported
that the Australian international Kevin Muscat is being sued
by Charlton midfielder Matty Holmes for a challenge he made
five years ago when playing for Wolverhampton
Wanderers in an FA Cup fixture.
Holmes, now 33 and a player-coach at
non-league Dorchester Town, needed three operations and had
a metal rod inserted in his left leg following the
challenge.
He said: "I am lucky that I can
still play once-a-week at this level. It is hard going but
if I do not train more than once each week, I should still
be able to perform on a Saturday. "I still get aches
and pains and the incident is on my mind the whole time. It
is hard because every time I watch a professional game I
think I should still be playing."
A preliminary High Court hearing is
apparently scheduled for April.
Feb 11 2003: Brighton have signed Wolves'

Jan 17 2003: Welsh international, Carl Robinson
has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a months loan from
Portsmouth. The 26 year old has 10 caps for his country and
spent 7 years as a Wolves player.
Jan 7 2003: Wolverhampton Wanderers boss,
Dave Jones, has targeted Zema
Abbey as the striker to take his club to the
Premiership. The Norwich City player was signed in 2000 but
suffered a damage cruciate last season and so was unable to
show his true potential. But he has recovered well and with Wolves
short of firepower, Jones (providing he keeps his job long
enough) will attempt to bring him in.
