agent has received a number of inquiries regarding Bowyer's
availability in the summer if West Ham do go
down. He has told clubs that Lee
will speak to all clubs that meet his wage demands, which
are extremely high. This has not put off all clubs and AS
Roma and Birmingham City have both made it clear that they
are interested.
Feb 13 2003: Northampton have told on trial
Liberian striker Christopher Wreh to lose weight if he wants
to get a contract with them.
They also have West Ham
defender Ezomo Iriekpen, Arsenal keeper Matthew Rouse and

Fulham left back Rufus Brevett for an undisclosed fee.
Brevett joined Fulham for £350,000 from QPR in January
1998.
They have also given Arsenal youngster
David Noble a 3 and a half month contract. Noble, who will
be 21 on Sunday, is hoping to be able to earn a longer term
deal.
Jan 30 2003: Southampton striker cum winger, Kevin
Davies, is being tracked by a number of clubs, since the
Saints announced that he is to be released in the summer.
With him being available on a free a whole host of clubs
have suddenly taken an interest, including, surprisingly, West
Ham and Leeds.
The favourites for his signature though
are Motherwell, Terry Butcher knows that he has no money to
spend and so any free players are closely tracked and he is
impressed by the attitude shown by him.
Jan 30 2003: Cheltenham Town have signed Marvin
Brown on loan for a month. The 19 year old striker is
Bristol City's youngest ever player.
They have also broken their
transfer record with the £50,000 buy of Grant McCann from West
Ham. The Northern Ireland international was seen as
the successor to Nigel Winterburn at left-back, but Roeder

year old ex-Newcastle forward chose the Hammers
over a number of other clubs and is now hoping to help them
to avoid relegation.

striker Richard Logan join Boston United on a free. Logan
has been on loan at the English 3rd Division club since
November and has now made the move permanent until the
summer of 2004. Ipswich have a clause in his contract giving
them an 'interest' in his future career.

midfielder, Robert Dickinson on trial at West Ham for
a week. Dickinson is not having his contract renewed at the

a new club.

this season and knowing that Ipswich can't afford to turn
down any approaches for their players, Glenn Roeder has
targeted him as the next player to come in.
Jan 9 2003: Racing Santander have inquired about
Birmingham's left winger Stan Lazaridis. The Australian, who
has been offered to a number of clubs, is felt by Santander
to be perfectly suited for Spanish football.
Lazaridis was spotted by Frank Lampard
sr. while he was still assistant manager at West Ham.
The Hammers paid £300,000 for him in 1995 and
he played regurlarly for the Hammers until his

Bruce would like to get him off the wage bill with all the

move to QPR. There he made an immediate impact and was
watched by a number of Premiership clubs but none of them
were able to tempt Rangers to part with him. Now with money
being so tight in the lower leagues in England, and the
Hammers so desperate to tighten their leaky defence, it
looks as though the 2 clubs can come to some sort of
arrangement.

Fulham on loan. Pedro Munitis on his way to Fulham according to the
