Telestars held off a late challenge from FC105 Libreville to secure a 3-2 win in Gabon's Cup final in Libreville on Sunday.

The central African club champions took an early lead through Moussavou Lukini and stretched it to 2-0 before their military rivals stormed back into contention.

But Seydou Barro's 71st minute strike proved decisive as Telestars won only their second-ever Gabon Cup title.

They qualify to play in next year's CAF African Confederation Cup.

Mangasport have secured a third successive championship in Gabon. They beat Telestars 2-0 in their last league match, ensuring they finished the season unbeaten.

Mangasport, based in the south-eastern town of Moanda, won 20 of their 26 league matches to finish four points ahead of second placed FC105 Libreville. Telestars and FC105 Libreville play in Sunday's Gabon Cup final in Libreville.
