Antonio Valencia and Antoine Sibierski could be available to boss Chris Hutchings ahead of Wigan's trip to Manchester United.
Latics were boosted by the news influential Dutch midfielder Denny Landzaat had recovered from a fractured eye socket and was hoping to feature at Old Trafford and two more key men should be in the running to play.
Ecuador international Valencia has not featured since the draw at West Ham in August, but he has recovered from injury and Hutchings now has plenty of options available for the trip to United now Landzaat is also raring to go.

Meanwhile French forward Sibierski, who missed last Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool, is making good progress from a hamstring strain and is likely to be fit for the game against the reigning Premier League champions. He will replace Julius Aghahowa up front alongside Marcus Bent if he proves his fitness.
