Roma midfielder Ricardo Faty has joined Bayer Leverkusen on a 2 year loan deal, said the Bundesliga club.
The 20 year old, who made 11 Serie A appearances and 3 in the Champions League last term, moved to the Giallorossi last summer from Strasbourg for £250,000.
The Frenchman has agreed to a 2 year contract with the German outfit, who finished 5th in the 2006-07 season and will enter the UEFA Cup in the 1st round.
Faty moves in the opposite direction to £4.5 million defender Juan, who joined Roma in June after signing a 4 year contract worth £2.2 million a year.
