Phil Jevons - life long Liverpool fan, came through the Everton Youth System. He made it into the England U-16 side. He then came into the Everton Reserves and scored 35 goals in 91 games. He also won the FA Youth Cup.

From 1996 to 2001, Walter Smith only played Jevons in the Everton first team nine times and he didn't get on the score sheet either. He left Everton for Grimsby Town in July 2001 for £150,000. His contract ends in July 2004. During Phil's first season with Grimsby he had trouble with a knee injury. But has now had an operation on it.

In September 2002 he went on a season long loan to Hull City for financial reasons, this was after having been on the transfer list, again for financial reasons.
