Preston goalkeeper Andrew Murphy has joined Blue Square North side Vauxhall Motors on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old signed his first professional contract in June but has yet to break into the senior side.

Murphy was recently recalled from a loan stint at Northwich Victoria to provide extra cover at Preston.

But with Chris Neal shaking off a bout of conjunctivitis, boss Paul Simpson has allowed Murphy back out to gain further experience.
