In August 1995 Michael Johansen signed for FC Copenhagen. Exactly a year later he came to the Premiership for £1,250,000 and was a star at Bolton Wanderers making 112 appearances. Then in June of 2000 he returned to his homeland and started playing for AB Copenhagen.

Johansen wants to get back into European big time football but has had injuries and two operations. However in November 2002 he won another cap for Denmark so he was hoping this may get him noticed
