The Czech Republic coach Karel Bruckner has rewarded Martin Fenin for his outstanding displays at the FIFA U-20 World Cup with a senior call up for the friendly against Austria.
The 20 year old FK Teplice forward is the only newcomer for the match in Vienna, having continued the form he showed at the recent finals with all 3 of his club's goals in 2-0 and 1-0 wins at the start of the new Czech season. "It is not an experiment", Bruckner said.
"We require this kind of forward." Whilst Austria are the co-hosts of UEFA EURO 2008, the Czech Republic hope to qualify for the finals from Group D. They are 2nd in the section, 5 points behind leaders Germany, before their next competitive fixture in San Marino on 8 September.

Werder Bremen target Martin Fenin was attracting interest from clubs in England.
The Czech Republic star impressed at the recent U20 World Cup and was the subject of an offer from Bremen.
Hertha Berlin are also rumoured to be showing an interest in the FK Teplice striker, who recently signed a new 4 year contract with the Czech club.
Spanish sides have also been linked with Fenin, even though the youngster admitted that he would prefer a transfer to the Bundesliga over La Liga.
However, Teplice director Frantisek Hrdlicka has now claimed that Fenin has dropped on to the radar of English clubs.
"Werder are only one of the candidates," Hrdlicka informed MF Dnes. "Clubs from Spain and England would like him as well."

Mauro Zarate grabbed an 86th minute winner as Argentina came from behind to beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in the Fifa U20 World Cup Final.
The Czechs had taken the lead on the hour through Martin Fenin's brilliant shot however Argentina levelled 2 minutes later through forward Sergio Aguero.
The game looked to be heading for extra time until Zarate cut in from the left and beat Czech keeper Radek Petr.
It was Argentina's 6th title, and they have won 5 of the last seven.
