According to a Danish website, Hibs maybe on the verge of signing OB Odense forward Kim Christensen.

Christensen, 27, is thought to currently be training with the Hibees 1st team team and it seems John Collins maybe set to pounce.

Hibs would reportedly must pay 4 million Krona (about £363,000) to secure the 6ft 4in former Brondby, FC Twente, Hamburg and Lyngby striker.

Christensen has scored one goal in 9 U21 games for Denmark.

It is been widely publicised that Hibs manager John Collins is on the look out for a big powerful forward and this lad certainly fits the bill.

Aalborg BK midfielder Rasmus Wurtz described FC København as "the perfect place to play" after joining the Superligaen champions along with FC Nordsjælland forward Morten Nordstrand Friday.

Wurtz was linked with a move away from AaB for several weeks and the Danish international felt the time was right for a change, especially with his new club offering UEFA Champions League football. "After 5 seasons at AaB I felt ready to try something new, and to me FCK seems the perfect place to play," mentioned the 23 year old. "I am also looking forward to some exciting European matches."

Nordstrand, who like Wurtz signed a 5 year deal, also explained that he has decided to take his career on to the next level. "I was happy at Nordsjælland however right now, I am looking forward to being part of FCK's squad, training and playing at the highest probable level in Scandinavia," mentioned the 24 year old, who scored 19 goals in 33 league games for Nordsjælland last season. "I hope to get the chance to show what I can do and hopefully score a lot of goals."

København sporting director Carsten Jensen said, "These are 2 strong players joining us and it pleases me to see how some of the best Danish players see FCK as a big step forward in their careers. Morten Nordstrand has huge possible and has already proved his ability to score goals with Nordsjælland, and before that Lyngby FC, whilst Rasmus Wurtz is exactly the sort of player we were looking for."

Wurtz and Nordstrand follow 26 year old Sweden defender Mikael Antonsson to København as the Danish capital club continue preparations for the UEFA Champions League 2nd qualifying round.
