Glenavon boss Colin Malone has signed Gavin McDonald from bankrupt Eircom League outfit Dublin City. The versatile McDonald, who can play in central defence, right back or central midfield, joined the club after the 2-2 draw with Lurgan Celtic on Saturday.
McDonald played for Armagh City three years ago when Malone was boss before moving to Shelbourne. Meanwhile, Glenavon have agreed to Kieran O'Connor's request to be put on the transfer list.
