06 March 2007 Colchester have taken midfielder Rob Davies on trial from Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion.
The Wales Under-21 international, 19, was set to line up for the U′s reserves in a midweek game against Northampton.
Davies made his Baggies debut as a late substitute in an FA Cup replay in January 2006, but has not played for Albion′s first team since then.
He had a loan spell at Kidderminster earlier this season, during which he made four Conference appearances. 08 January 2007 West Bromwich Albion have recalled midfielder Rob Davies from his loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers.
Davies was nearing the end of a second month at Kidderminster, where he had started five games.
However, the Wales under-21 international had not figured in the Conference for a month.
Ironically the 19-year-old was due to return to Aggborough to play for the Baggies reserves on Monday night but that game fell victim to the weather. 02 January 2007 Kidderminster Harriers have completed the permanent signing of striker Iyseden Christie from Rochdale.
The clubs have agreed a free transfer deal for the 30-year-old following the end of a successful loan spell.
Christie has scored eight goals in 19 Conference appearances for Harriers since joining the Conference club for a second time in August.
The former Mansfield and Leyton Orient striker previously left Kidderminster to join Rochdale in January 2006. 21 December 2006 Kidderminster have extended the loan signing of West Brom defender Rob Davies for a further month.
The Wales under-21 international orignally signed on a one-month deal and has played.
West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has the right to recall the 19-year-old at 24 hours' notice.
Davies, 19, joined the Baggies from Wrexham during the 2003/04 season but has so far been restricted to just one senior appearance for the club. |
