Goalkeeper Simon Brown signed a 2 year contract with Brentford after joining on a free transfer from Hibs.
Brown has signed a deal at Griffin Park shortly before his deal with the Edinburgh club was due to expire.
Brown said, "The main attraction of joining Brentford was (manager) Terry Butcher′s wish to get the club moving in the right direction."
He added, "He originally contacted me at the end of the season, and his initial ambition impressed me. The more I spoke to him about how excited he was in terms of getting the team back up to League One, the more impressed I was, and, as such, the chance to come to Griffin Park attracted me immensely."
Brown becomes Butcher′s 3rd signing of the summer following the arrivals of defender John Mackie and midfielder Glenn Poole.
