Two minutes later, Portuguese striker Joao Tomas gave visitors the lead with another header, before sealing the win with a penalty five minutes from time, with Qatar SC reduced to 10 men as Khaled Salem collected a second yellow.
In Sunday′s other match, Al Ahli defeated Al Arabi 1-0 but remained bottom of the table with 25 points.

Poland moved top of UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying Group A with a 5-0 demolition of Azerbaijan on Saturday.
The home side were in complete control after just five minutes thanks to early strikes from Jacek Bak and Dariusz Dudka and Wojciech Lobodzinski made it 3-0 before halftime to demoralise the Azeris.
Jacek Krzynowek got the fourth after 58 minutes while Przemyslaw Kazmierczak completed the rout for Leo Beenhakker′s side seven minutes from time.
"We created 10 situations on goal and scored five times," Dutchman Beenhakker said. "We had a lot of information on Azerbaijan and they could not surprise us with anything."
Kazakhstan′s surprise victory over Serbia earlier on Saturday allowed Poland to top the group with 13 points, two more than Finland who were not in action on Saturday.
Poland are in action at home to Armenia on Wednesday when Finland host Serbia.
