Israel coach Dror Kashtan has named a strong 21 man team to face Belarus in a friendly international in Minsk on August 22, their last preparation match before next month's Euro 2008 Group E qualifier in England.

Most of the players available in major European leagues were named, that included Chelsea central defender Tal Ben Haim, Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun, Deportivo Coruna goalie Dudu Aouate and forward Pini Balili of Turkey's Sivasspor.

However, Queens Park Rangers forward Ben Sahar, who is on loan from Chelsea, will miss the game and is also doubtful to face England at Wembley on September 8 following a recent appendix operation.

Maccabi Haifa midfielder Lior Refaelov, previously named in the team however still uncapped, has also been included.

Real Sociedad have allowed midfielder Mikel Alonso to join Bolton for their pre season training camp in Austria.

Wanderers are thinking about signing the 27 year old for next season and the relegated Basque club are willing to negotiate.

'Bolton Wanderers have shown an interest in acquiring Mikel Alonso,' mentioned a club statement.

'Real Sociedad have had taken the request made by the English club to allow Alonso to take part in the pre season stage with Bolton in Austria. After that, Bolton must announce to Real Sociedad if they are definitely going to make an offer for the player.'

Alonso would claim the team place of Idan Tal, who is looking to be on his way out of the Reebok Stadium after he was given permission to hold talks with Israeli champions Beitar Jerusalem.

The 31 year old Israel midfielder only joined Wanderers from Maccabi Tel Aviv last summer however spent the majority of the season as a substitute.

A Wanderers spokesman mentioned on the club's official website, 'We are in the process of giving permission to Beitar Jerusalem to speak to Idan Tal with a view to the Israeli club signing the player.'

Beitar are looking to strengthen before their Champions League qualifier against FC Copenhagen later this month.

Tal is presently with the Bolton team in Austria and, if a deal cannot be reached this week, will travel to the team to South Korea.
