Jan 2 2003: Stirling Albion gaffer Allan Moore has indicated that he believes goalkeeper, Iain Turner could be leaving Forthbank soon. Speaking after the match against East Stirlingshire on New Years Day, both Moore and Turner revealed that Charlton and Everton have both bid for Turner, with Moore revealing. "I think he will leave us soon, nothing is sorted just now, it is up to Turner himself." While Turner said "I think I would like to make a move to a bigger club soon. I have been speaking to the Chairman a lot this week. I have only been told that Charlton and Everton have both made bids"
Jan 12 2003: Stirling Albion director John Smith has launched a scathing attack on Iain Turner's agent, Kevin Drinkell. Drinkell, who was once manager of Albion, has come under fire because he refused to speak to other parties other than Everton - even though Albion have revealed that Manchester United and Charlton Athletic were both extremely interested in the player and were able to agree a fee with the club. John Smith has suggested that there might be an ulterior motive in the agent's choice of club
