Parma are yet to announce their new Coach, however they sign Sampdoria's Italian international Giulio Falcone.

The Tardini side are marching on in their transfer strategy inspite of so far failing to find a replacement for Juve-bound Claudio Ranieri.

This afternoon the club released a statement confirming that 33 year old Falcone had put pen to paper on a 2 year contract.

The defender has spent the last 4 seasons at Sampdoria, where he impressed enough to earn his debut Italy cap.

Falcone made his one and only appearance on Roberto Donadoni's opener, a 2-0 friendly defeat to Croatia on August 16, 2006.

He started his career at Torino in 1992 with spells at Fiorentina and Bologna before his time at Marassi.

This season Falcone has the unenviable statistic of one of the least disciplined players in Serie A, having picked up 3 dismissals.
