Catania players Armando Pantanelli, Mattia Biso and Gianluca Falsini are suing the club for 'bullying' and discrimination.
The trio were excluded from the team whilst awaiting transfer, however this has also seen them moved to a different hotel as the rest of the team.
They are also forced to train at a different time of day to the rest of the team, all of which constitutes 'bullying and discrimination' as stated by lawyer Mattia Grassiani.
Catania hit back at the accusations and noted that they were doing everything probable to ensure the players are treated fairly.
'There is no case of bullying,' assured GM Pietro Lo Monaco. 'The 3 players are training regularly on our field with our fitness coach. Inspite of the fact these 3 are no longer part of our plans for the next season, they are still being paid handsomely for doing absolutely nothing.'
Midfielder Biso was playing for Catania since January 2006, when he moved from Ascoli, making 15 appearances for the club last term.
Goalkeeper Pantanelli joined the Sicilians in 2005 when they were still in Serie B and was their 1st choice shot stopper for 3 seasons.
Falsini is a recent addition to the side, as the winger came to Catania in January 2007 from Siena, however made only 5 Serie A appearances.
