Released Charlton Athletic winger Scott Wagstaff is close to agreeing personal terms with Gillingham.

AFC Wimbledon set to sign George Francomb, Craig Beattie, Jon Meades, Cameron Belford, Efe Sodje, and Jack Ainsley on a free, and bring in Toby Ajala on a season long loan deal.

I really hope Luke Moore stays at the club.

Francombe - yes please, he was the only guy we had all season who could properly deliver a cross. But given Oxford are paying a 21 year old left back more than our top earner I doubt it's going to come off.
Efe Sodje is 40 and was sent on loan to Barrow last year! I'll take Antwi everyday. Unless he's coming as a coach.
Beattie - only managed 5 appearances for Barnet, that had better be because of injury if that's going to be our 'experienced' striker. Strutts all day long please.
Ainsley - possible, but as a starter? He's got virtually no league experience at 22 and its all on Benno.
Belford - possible. But you'd rather it was Sully. sad times.

It's more likely to be false because Meades has signed for Oxford. And I agree, I'd take Francomb. Any of the others would surprise me greatly based on Ardley's previous signings and fitting into his 'system'.

Ashley Vincent could be set to join Portsmouth FC this week and sign a two year contract after failing to agree a new contract with Port Vale.

Vincent did not have a really good game after the Oxford match live on TV. He struggled to beat his m, an after half a season - people wised up to the fact he pushes the ball past and runs rather than any trickery. Not sure he is a Division One player

Bradford are interested in Lyle Taylor from Falkirk as they are in need of another striker with it looking like Andy Gray and Alan Connell may be on the way out, with Gray looking to go to Accrington and Connell to go to Portsmouth.

Dave Syers could be coming back to Bradford after Doncaster went up and with Dickov coming in looking to sign CM's from his old club Oldham, it looks like he won't get the chance at Donny.

With Bradford looking to sign a RM, they are interested in bringing in Jimmy Ryan from Scunthorpe with them dropping into League Two and Ryan wanting to play a higher level of football than league 2

As a Bournemouth fan I would advise Bradford against signing Lyle unless he has improved exponentially since he left us. Never really looked like doing anything for us and even struggled in the BSP.

Portsmouth are closing in on a double signing this week with released Carlisle defender Peter Murphy and released Birmingham midfielder Keith Fahey with Guy Whittingham looking to shore up his squad

With the Welshman looking at life after Cheltenham, clubs in League 1 & 2 have been put on alert.
