It's been a while. There have been rumours linking Fulham to Harry Maguire of Sheffield United, a transfer that suits Fulham's current transfer policy.

An offer was rumoured to go in for £3m, however, Hull struggling to get Dawson and now chasing Maguire is a kick in the nuts, as they can offer Premier League football NOW as well as a campaign in Europe.

No bid has been accepted.

Hull City are expected to sign Harry Maguire either today or tomorrow as a fee og £1. 75 million rising to just over £2 million has been agreed.
Hull also thought to be very interested in Andrew Robertson from Dundee United and are close to agreeing a fee.

It looks like Middlesbrough fc have missed out on bringing Kenneth Ormerou back on loan. I have it from a reliable source at Hull City that he is interested in joining them and that the lure of Premier league football is the main factor for his decision.
karanka is looking to pair Graham with Vossen if the deals can be done. He needs to offload Kamara and Juke before any forward players sign on the dotted line.
juanfran is still in talks with Middlesbrough and the club have agreed to give him another week to reconsider before moving forward with another fullback target, possibly Andre Yelling, USA international.

JackLewis2014

08 Jul 2014 14:15:27
Yedling is linked with Liverpool and Roma. For a player on 1.5 k a week he would have been a good purchase but he'll end up elsewhere.

JRM

I don't think ormerou will go to hull he will go to the boro where he is guarenteed 1st team football

gj12345

I still think ormerou will come back to the Boro as he has even said he wants to come and at boro he will play week in week out not just in europe like he will at hull

richyboro

Even if we don't get him there are many other young talent s to bring in on loan so I wouldn't worry

smoggygooner

09 Jul 2014 07:22:57
apparently the deal for Ormerou is already agreed with Hull City, he simply needs to sign.
I personally don't blame the lad, he will be a premier league star for years to come so it makes sense for him to play in the premiership with Hull now.
I'm sure we all wish him luck, he was superb last season.
On a plus, their seems to be more substance in the Yedling deal, his agents are in the UK speaking with several clubs and we are one of them.
Does anyone have any idea who the other striking targets are if we miss out on Vossen and Graham?

JackLewis2014

09 Jul 2014 12:17:44
I think omorou will stick to his word and join us again as he knows we are going for a promotion push and if he plays near enough every game and we get promoted its guna look better on him then playing 10 matches for hull and finishing 15th in the bpl, also vossen deal probably done as we expect to get him for £4million, Gibson must be off his rocker! So looks like the same old faces back again next season as Huddersfield won't sell clayton for our price, juanfran is off to Palermo as they offers 1.5million with add ons, so looks like Danny graham back for good and a few Chelsea lads,

Boromad86

If you look on the Hull websites there's no mention of Omorou at all and if he doesn't stick to his word I wouldn't want him back here.

Callaby32

09 Jul 2014 17:45:24
Garbage. his WC break finishes. Omerou will be checked over at Chelsea before heading here to reconvene with the team after the Spain trip. I'd put money on it.

Would love to see Ken and Vossen back but doubt we have the financial clout to pull it off UTB

Jimjones

Vossen has never come to boro so how can he come back jim? But hopefully he will now.

richyboro

I stand corrected gents, apologies.
BIG Ken will be back on Teesside within 2 weeks. Hull can't guarantee Chelsea that he will be first choice this season.
Mourinho wants to get the most out of this season in terms of game time in England.
Danny Graham now looking at a deal with Burnley. Boro is still his first choice but his wage demands could prove the issue.
Vossen deal is DEAD. Boro have offered.3m with £900k upfront. genk want 6-7m.
Bamford looking likely now.

JackLewis2014

Derby will make their final big for Thorne and go all out and bid 2. 5M and also bid 1M for Wigan want away James McLean however the lukas jutkiewicz deal is a no go as Middlesbrough are asking too much money and Wigan win the way in getting him, with McLean coming in that means Ward will be leaving sadly as he has been linked with a lot championship teams including Wigan, Norwich and Fulham and also premier league teams including burnley, Palace and Hull, ward won't be hugely expensive 750-1M as he is in his last hear of his contract

After a disappointing season on loan at Liverpool, Jose Mourinho has informed Victor Moses that he has no future at the Bridge.

Early interest being shown by Steve Bruce at Hull, finances would be a worry due to his current reported wages.

I would expect a fair bit of interest for him leaving permanently, but at the worst case scenario, another season out on loan is likely.

West ham are set to bid £5 million for Swansea defender Ashley Williams but face strong competition from Sunderland who have recently had a £4 million bid rejected

AgentITK

This is just rubbish. Lescott has gone to WBA, Livermore to Hull already. Waters is past it and Pulis knows that. Palace need a left back, centre back, holding central midfielder and at least one tall striker who will work hard. Not sure Crouch is still up for hard work. Re-sign Cam Jam and then a big striker who can score. Ulloa maybe? He needs to leave Brighton for his career and Palace would be a step up.

Burnley in talks with Tom Ince along with Hull, QPR and Leicester. Tom's preference is Burnley due to still owning a house in Lancashire, however they are offering lesser terms than the others so this is up in the air. This isn't standard 'plucked from the air' nonsense but from the player himself.

08 Jun 2014 18:36:24
Tom Ince will be linked with everyone, a bit like the deadline day saga in Jan where he was probably the most travelled individual touting himself to anyone who would listen. Gladly he is not the type of player Leicester scout for or want. Good luck to anyone who has him.

Wes the fox

I can confirm that Burnley have no intentions of making an offer to Tom Ince as he is not one of Sean Dyche's summer Transfer targets, this comes from in the club

Jon Walters is set to leave Stoke City after being deemed surplus to requirements. Hull, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Celtic are all battling to sign the £3 million rated Ireland International

Hull are set to bid £5 million for recently relegated Norwich Winger Robert Snodgrass and are also set start the bidding off for Chelsea LB Ryan Bertrand, however face competition from Aston Villa and Newcastle

Sunderland are looking to bid £3 million for Cardiff Midfielder Jordan Mutch. Sunderland are also looking at Argentine Midfielder Ever Banega, however face strong competition from Tottenham and Southampton. Wilson Palacios of Stoke is also being touted as a possible back-up option for Sunderland

Stoke City are set to bid £5 million for Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel and are looking to conclude deals for Miame Diouf (free transfer) and a £6 million deal for Monaco forward Emmanuel Riverie.

Newcastle now look favourites to sign former Fulham midfielder and now free agent Steve Sidwell, beating West ham and QPR to his signing

Stoke City are looking to sign Monaco Striker Emmanuel Riviere in a £4 million deal and are currently in talks with free agent and former Werder Breman midfielder Aaron Hunt

Hull are looking to sign Jake Livermore from Spurs in a £5 million deal and are looking at Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios as a potential £2 million Backup option

There hasn't been a transfer window in several years Palace haven't been linked with Walters. It's lazy journalism every time, and utterly wrong. Will never happen.

Completely agree to above UNTIL Pulis joined Palace. He loves Walters, more than any other player, given the chance I reckon he'd sign him in a heart beat.

Gloucester City are to bid for Cardiff City's Theo Wharton.

The former Race United youngster does not seem to have a future left at The Bluebirds and would be a major coup for The Tigers.

Huddersfield Town to sign Robert Koren on a free transfer from Hull after his contract has expired.

Mark Robins

Sounds good to me, little bit against Mark Robins new transfer policy (stated last season), as Koren is aged 33. However after releasing most of the 'experienced' players (players over 30) maybe that is what we need in the squad to aid Nahki Wells and Joe Lolleys progression as finishers. I very much doubt that this signing will happen for town as relatively big names have not really been our forte in recent years however transfers generally do happen to be in the cheap (freebies) in recent years and this is likely to follow as I very much doubt Dean Hoyle will allow Mark Robins to spend after seeing the 'deadwood' which Lee Clark signed for lots of money on expensive contracts just leave this summer for free as their contracts have expired. Hopefully though town may regain some money to spend via the sale of Sean Scannell who is clearly not part of Mark Robins plans as I have heard that a move back down south for 'Big Scanz' looks incredibly likely.

Medel- Besiktas ( Valencia have apparently expressed interest also)

Caulker - a number of people were of the opinion that Aston Villa have already contacted his agent

Marshall - interest from a number of clubs on PL Celtic also heavily interested, more people than I thought seem to think he will stay

Lewis Grabban was set to sign for Brighton today and according to local media was close to signing before noon to be available for Saturday, but Reading have had an offer accepted and Grabban is set for talks with them before making a decision on his future.

Reading are close to announcing new Omani ownership with links to the Sultanate of Oman/Omani Royal Family. Reading are also set to receive £1.2m from the sale of WBA striker Shane Long to Hull.

With the wages Reading pay, it should be wrapped up early next week.
