Fulham, Swansea and Sunderland are all battling it out for 4 million rated spurs midfielder Scott Parker.

fulham need him

I think he is just about got one good season left in him, he looked jaded towards the end of last season and at £4M I tthink he is overpriced considering his age.

Would love to see him at Fulham and us
Being a london club might work in our
Favour

Not creative or young enough for Fulham - not required.

I didn't realise he is 32. now 4m does seem expensive

Doesn't seem too expensive for a player of his quality. Exactly the kind of player Fulham need. Good tackler, good passer and creative. Can score the odd goal too. Sign him up Fulham. COYW

4 mill for a 32 year old what a joke

Crystal palace are believed to have had a loan bid rejected for talented Everton youngster Ross Barkley, palace were told he will be in and around the first team under Martinez and is expecting to bring the best out of him.

Also palace are very close to completing the signing of released west brom winger Jerome Thomas and lastly the eagles have enquired about the availability of Sunderlands David Vaughan and stokes Cameron Jerome. but on the downside there is genuine interest in johnny parr from west brom and Fulham so far he's replacement will be Aaron creswell of Ipswich town place believe a deal can be negotiated with Ipswich holding out for £3 million.

Cress well isn't going for 3mil

Johnny Parr Staying at Crystal Palace FC, going no where - CPFC

We are not after Cameron Jerome and parr has said he wants to stay

Who is Johnny Parr?

Guitarist for the smiths

18 Jun 2013 13:34:39
Yeovil will look to ex-Fulham youth captain Alex Manley as talks to sign Febian Brandy appear to have stalled somewhat. Manley is currently a free agent, so Yeovil could be getting a bargain!

Do you mean Alex Smith? No one at Fulham is called Alex Manley. Alex Smith is however a very tidy player and in the right team can become a very good footballer. I hopeus and Fulham supporting Yeovil manager Gary Johnson can build a friendship especially after the superb development Yeovil have helped give Dan Butn.

Crystal Palace will unveil their new signings on July the 1st. Palace are keen on Florian Marange despite high interest from Stoke City and Fulham.

Palace are also hopeful of unveiling a striker and two midfielders, one being Andre Moritz who is expected to sign a 2-year contract with the South London Club. The striker is believed to one of a number of targets, Jordan Rhodes, Alfred Finnbogason or Eden Ben Basat. Frederic Veseli is also a target after being released by Manchester United

Charlton are hopeful of landing Simeon Jackson as a top target to boost their strike force. The Addicks see him as integral if they are hopeful of a promotion push.

Lastly Millwall are hopeful of keeping David Forde despite interest from a number of premier league and championship clubs, noticeably Fulham.

Odemwingie weeks most likely striker signing at present, plus maybe Acuna. Finnbaggassen would be a great signing. These 3 would give Palace some real options going forward

Why would Fulham be interested in Forde if they've just signed an Holland international goalkeeper?!

CAFC could afford his wages but he was prone to injury.

Alfreð Finnbogason is being watched by top teams like Lazio, Milan, Liverpool and so on, no way will he move to a relegation bound club like Crystal palace.

BIG NEWS FOR CARDIFF CITY FANS!

WE ARE AT HOME TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR IN THE 1ST GAME OF THE SEASON AS A PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB.

AS FOOTBALL DATA CO CAN NO LONGER STOP PEOPLE FROM PRINTING THE LIST, I CAN EXCLUSIVELY REVEAL THE 1ST 6 FIXTURES:

(H) TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
(A) SOUTHAMPTON
(H) ASTON VILLA
(A) MANCHESTER UNITED
(H) HULL CITY
(A) FULHAM

The Football Fixtures are out tomorrow

How have you got them already?

Only team you will get points out of there is Hull

Do you know what Hull's first game is against?

Fixtures never work like that - if you are at home on opening day you will then have 2 away games and vice versa

18 Jun 2013 12:52:53
The premier league champions always plays the championship champions. So unless spurs won the league

Won't get points at Hull either

18 Jun 2013 14:51:35
The Premierleague champions don't always play Championship champions on opening day. 2012-13 season, defending champions Manchester City played Southampton (Championship runners up). And the season before, Manchester United played WBA (We're in Premierleague season before).

One draw out of that lot then against Hull enjoy your one season

Glad to see the saints will be winning their second game then! ;)

Southampton 3 - Cardiff 2 i'm going to say :p nah anything can happen in the prem.

EastSaint

This is the typical "you're going down first season" bit that random people do. Don't worry we had that too last season Cardiff fans. Look forward to seeing how the team adapts when we play you at St Mary's and you return to your proper Blue kit (I hope).

Any transfer news ed please tell me like the gomis situation

Cardiff could be good next year. Not going down in my opinion (saints fan). Better than the other promoted teams by far and better than Norwich. Will be interesting to see if your fixture list is right.

One season rubbish. swansea have established themselves well Cardiff will do the same. we just need wrexham / newport and a few others to really annoy english fans. the welsh we're coming!

Well you got those fixtures wrong! Tottenham at Palace!

dizzyfeet

Im sue your playing west ham for the first game

Lol the fixture list is totally wrong

Nice "exclusive". Completely wrong, you could get a job at the sun.

17 Jun 2013 15:46:49
crystal palace set move for kieran richardson from fulham

No thank you cart and horse comes to mind

Fine with me he has been useless and maybe it can add some funds for a new left back.

No truth in this at all. Just because Palace are a newly promoted team doesn't mean we want to sign other premiership teams rubbish.

Good player when not injured but that's his problem injury prone useless if injured most of the time.

17 Jun 2013 15:01:12
Yeovil are set to offer released Fulham youngster Corey Gameiro a 2 year deal. The 20 year old Aussie striker is keen to play some regular football after finding opportunities limited at Craven Cottage.

Would be a good signing!

Poppycock

I don't know why Fulham let him go.

16 Jun 2013 15:58:43
2 players Championship side Yeovil are intrested in are Febian Brandy of Walsall and defender Dan Burn from Fulham. Brandy is expect to sign a permanent 2 year deal while Burn will return to the club on loan for the season.

Burn to sign for Peterborough, Jol is mates with Big Baz, done deal. He would be shown up in the championship so its back to league one for Dan.

Absolutely no chance of Dan Burn going back to league one. If Fulham loan him out again he'll most likely go back to Yeovil, or if not, a bigger Championship club.

No chance will Burny go to Peterborough, he's more than likely to come back to Yeovil and the deal suits every party down to the ground.

Dan Burn will be at Yeovil next season, he already said he loved it here and stated his desire to have another loan spell in this upcoming season, he would choose Yeovil over peterborough all day long because he knows what he is going to get at the club

16 Jun 2013 13:32:26
Fulham, westham and wba all want Jermaine defoe after the playwer was toild he could move on.

Would be a great signing. He is a natural goalswcorer. just the type of player we need. go for him baggies

16 Jun 2013 23:16:06
No chance of him joining Albion. As much as I'd like to see him up here wages is one issue and the fact he wouldn't want to leave London is another. west ham is possible

I guess if he likes London then he may as well join Fulham because I don't think spurs would sell to West Ham.

He says he is staying at tottenham!

16 Jun 2013 11:03:54
Update on Ipswich goings ons.

Reece Brown - In talks
Richard Stearman - Fee being discussed
Kevin Brands - False rumour
Marco Ararore - Season Loan in talks
Alejandro Bedoya - Fee being discussed
Harry Forrester - compensation cost stumbling block
Chris Forrester - transfer complete

Out:

Chopra - two offers of £500k accepted from unknown clubs
Thomas - Player + cash offer received, not from Fulham, club not known.

That's it for now. Mick will be busy in the window though and reports are that he wants to be playoffs this year.

Chris Forrester has not joined Ipswich, he is joing Leeds Utd

Mick

You'll find Chris Forrester is actually a distant relative of Mick and this deal was signed some three weeks back.

16 Jun 2013 10:13:30
aston villa, fulham and wba have all be credited with an interest in p'boro striker dwight gayle

Dwight Gayle WILL NOT be going anywhere as the chairman Barry Fry said it will take a ridiculous amount of money for them to sell

Villa don't want Gayle, we are signing Helenius.

Can you see tight- fisted Wenger paying the sort of fee we have quoted for Benteke?
His record fee is still only 15 million pounds.
It's all gone silent in the media in the last week about Benteke.
They have realised he is going nowhere.
I just wish he would stop messing around and sign the new contract now.

Peteborough quoted a ridiculous £10m for him and everyone quite rightly told them to f off

15 Jun 2013 20:48:10
Simon Grayson is reportedly interested in bringing Fulham striker Marcello Trotta to Preston. However this might prove to be hard as Trotta turned down a move last summer.

15 Jun 2013 22:20:40
the reason he turned down preston was because of westley

Still under contract so would command a fee.

PNE can't pay for any players and I doubt he would take a drop in wages

Grayson is looking for a loan deal for a premier league striker, and who said Preston can't buy players with a fee involved?

Well apart from Beavon who cost £200k. NO other PNE player had a fee.

No money will be spent this season.

He meant loan.

I'd be disappointed to see him have another season in League One, although to be fair, he hasn't earned a chance to play in the Championship. Many Fulham fans have written him off forgetting how young he is. Very frustrating as he has the ability to be very good, but struggles with consistency. If any team can get him on top form all season, he will do well.

15 Jun 2013 11:49:39
fulham are set to land bakary sakho from wolves in a 3 million deal.

14 Jun 2013 13:02:33
Pieters close to joining Fulham not Stoke, medical today ( not at Fulham but in Holland).

Eddy PSV

That's good news for Fulham. Finally a left back that can defend and attack. Riise is sometimes a liability and is past his best days. And Kieran Richardson is more injury prone than Evil Knievel.

I thought a deal needed to be agreed before a medical can take place and there also needs to be one at Fulham as well as in Holland

That's wrong no need for 2 medical as long as Fulham doctor/s are present & medical can be done b4 terms, Bent had a medical at Motspur park last Friday b4 jetting to Ireland I had this confirmed by Fulham's physio. Bent has agreed in principle to join Fulham who want an answer when the window officially opens.
Have it on good authority that Bent wants to join Fulham over Newcastle & Everton as he wants to move back down here. He was born a couple of miles from craven cottage.

Bent was born in Tooting which is not a couple of miles away its bout 7-10 miles away and the other side of the river to Fulham.

Tooting is 4 miles from craven cottage

Tooting is the other side of the bridge but not 10 miles you just drive down garrat lane and there's tooting.

14 Jun 2013 09:42:17
Yeovil Town are looking to sign Matthew Upson after he was released from stoke. They are looking to sign him as well as Fulham youngster Dan Burn on loan for another season

Dan burn yes but upson no why would they, they've got Webster and there are other cheaper players out there on the Market

Dan burn should return, as for upon I think you've plucked this from fresh air. We couldn't afford his wage demands. And GJ has said he won't be bringing big names in, just gambles who have stayed under the radar (quoted in the western news paper this week)

This will never happen due to wage demands

As a Yeovil fan; this will definitely not happen!
Would command wayyy too high wages and will surely want to be playing Prem football.

Upson was on £40,000 a week at Stoke city how are Yeovil going to pay or compete with other clubs to sign him

14 Jun 2013 18:19:12
Actually gj said there would be Gary's gambles! He said nothing of the kind that everyone would be a gamble! Anyway if he were to sign it would be of wages that would suit the club! I don't think it will happen but nothing is impossible

Upson won't come to Yeovil however I would of agreed with you we need a center back contracted to us. Yes Dan Burn will most likely return as stated in the official press, but we need two center halfs contracted to us instead of relying on a loaned center back and webster. Johnson will strengthen his side with contracted players first and perhaps several long term loans.

Im a Stoke fan and I am glad to see a small club like Yeovil doing so well so I would like to see them get Upson.

According to Guy Havord off of tv, 'Matt' Upson plays for us already!

Matt Upson was not on £40,000 per week at Stoke, that would've made him our top earner. We don't go above £30,000 on first team players nevermind a player purposefully brought in as backup

Matt upson is past it. he was an average defender at brighton last season

13 Jun 2013 23:01:47
Rumours that Fulham will look at signing Stewart Downing and Darren Bent early in July. I can only see Stewart Downing being a loan if we are unable to clinch a deal for Wolves' Bakary Sako.

Still searching for a central midfielder to pull the strings. Building a very good squad though.

Bent might be interesting, at least, which certainly can't be said about Downing.
Sako is decent but not really essential this year - what we need most is a midfield 'boss' and a classy 'whippet' up front, to compliment Berba.

Sako will not go there as fuluham are red hottttttt faviourtes! sizzle

Wolves fan here, Sako could play behind a striker or forward, he is quick enough. But as a winger he is a one trick pony who can often leave his LB prone as he does not like to track back.

Downing going nowhere

13 Jun 2013 20:24:16
ribas from genoa, perch and coloccini from Newcastle to fulham

I would love Coloccini but don't know who Ribas is.

I hope not. In terms of both costs and talent, none of these 3 are what FFC needs or wants for the coming season

13 Jun 2013 20:35:50
Spurs Scott Parker and Tom Huddlestone will sign for Fulham

Where has this information come from? Would both be great signings, but not convinced FFC would go for both financially?!

Don't rate Parker you can keep him.

Can't afford them.

We're not spending that big on one player.

Bent will be the most expensive at 4-6m.

13 Jun 2013 19:20:16
Veteran midfielder Simon Davies who turns 34 this year is an ambitious transfer target for league one side Walsall to replace the departing Brandy

The former Wales international is currently a free agent after his release from Fulham where he played just 20 games in 2 seasons, Davies is looking for first team football before he retires and the league one side can offer him this

Febian Brandy is close to signing a 3 year deal with newly promoted championship outfit Yeovil

Nobody would be foolish enough to give Brandy a 3 year deal.

2 year deal max.

12 Jun 2013 23:50:29
Darren Bent has signed for Fulham, agreed terms & will have his medical when he comes back from a rest break at the start of July

Berbatov & Bent could be lethal.

A rest break he's had that for 2 years now he needs some WD40?

Signed before he's had a medical, hmmmm.

13 Jun 2013 09:59:40
Or they could be Lazy as both have that tendency, all or nothing and there could be an ego clash.

Berbatov and Bent up top, Bryan Ruiz threading balls into them. Alex Kacaniklc and Ashkan Dejagah out wide. For as long as our defence stays solid, we could be a very good team next season.

Whilst I appreciate that berbatov and bent might make a good partnership on paper, neither are very willing runners, so unless we sign speedy gonzalez in midfield we may aswell change our sponsors to stannah stairlifts

They may have bid Egos but I have seen bent run and he is very quick. He could play a centre forward role allowing Berba to stay up front and not to wonder back into midfield where he isn't needed. Berba is one of the best players in te league when he gets in the box. He can use both feet got one if the best maybe even the best first touch in the league and is a proven goalscorer I think they would be a great partnership.

12 Jun 2013 17:13:49
All this talk of Bent & Newcastle is rubbish, Newcastle enquired about him but won't pay the asking price.

Bent is to meet with Fulham who are set to make a bid of 6m for the striker

Newcastle are turning their attention to prolific Ivorian Wilfred Bony

Gerry the Magpie

12 Jun 2013 11:53:45
Leicester will move for released Fulham 'keeper Mark Schwazer if Hull complete a deal for Kasper Schmeichel

12 Jun 2013 11:22:22
fulham are close to bringing in french midfielder sakho from wolves.

12 Jun 2013 08:33:22
Darren ( Bent) had a medical at Fulham on fri he then returned yesterday for advanced talks at Motspur Park.
Newcastle are interested in Darren but he wants to move back to London with Fulham only a few miles from Tooting where Darren was born & still regularly visits.

This has been done in true Fulham under the radar fashion.
West ham were also interested but have turned their attention towards getting the Carroll & Ambrosini deals over the line.

Hardly under the radar when you know about it!

12 Jun 2013 11:58:48
bent will never sign for fulham

12 Jun 2013 12:38:30
i do doubt this very much as darren bent was on the same plane as I was on friday from birmingham international airport to ireland can't see your story being true sorry although I wouldn't be suprised if he ended up at fulham just don't know why you have to lie about him already having medicals and what not.

Fulham physio confirmed it m8, Ireland's only an hour from London & medical can be anywhere, pogrebnyak had his in France b4 signing for Fulham

12 Jun 2013 00:13:55
Norwich City are looking to pip Fulham to the signature of Wolves winger Bakary Sako and will match their £4m asking price for the player.

Any good?

We know Fulham have been interested for a while so they have to be the likely destination. From a footballing sense though I can see Norwich's style of football suiting Sako better. One thing we can be sure of though is that he won't be a Wolves player come September!

I watched Sako all last season at wolves he is a good player going forward but will often leave the full back exposed, leaving huge gaps. I think he would be much better playing up front than on the wing. 4 is probly the right price for him

Him bent and Pieters going Fulham, you're signing Toivonen and Forrestieri

Wolves fan here sako is quality and what ever team he goes to he will attract Big teams in coming season. good luck sako

14 Jun 2013 04:39:03
Sako is decent for 5 minutes then goes missing for 85 minutes and if your loosing don't expect him to track back you'll find him standing on half way line knackered.

So he is like Huckerby was then, never tracked back. I'll take another Huckerby.

11 Jun 2013 19:25:08
fulham's dan burn is number one target for championship side middlesbrough, the defender impressed in his loan spell with Yeovil last season and was set to rejoin the glovers if no better offer came in.

He'll be off to yeovil then.

Any signing would just be on a loan

Could Yeovil not buy Dan Burn or would he cost to much

Dan Burn is seen as the future for Fulham, They have no intentions of selling him permanently, they want to send him back out on loan for a season to get some good first team experience then look at having him in their first team from 2014/2015 season, so no we Yeovil could not buy him on permanent basis

Fulham aren't interested in selling atm. See if he can hack it in the championship then he might get a chance in the first team

I don't think Fulham are looking to sell, dan burn is still a part of their future plans

11 Jun 2013 14:54:28
Norwich agree fee of 4.7 million with psv for striker toivonen its now upto the player to decide if he wants to join or sign for another prem club (fulham, everton and west brom intrested )

Awfully overrated and won't do much in the prem. Dapz

He had already agreed a deal with Fulham mate for 2 mill.

Deal done with norwich not Fulham

No he hasn't "mate" look at the tv and at all the press! Fulham had lodged a bid that was under the asking price, it was not accepted. By all account norwich has made a bid that exceeds the asking price and it has been accepted.

Personally I don't know enough about the guy but doesn't seem to be better than what we have in my opinion. Not a prolific finisher but might be good competition for Wes, but I think we can do better than him, would rather have Shelvey in that holding role, and I don't particularly rate Shelvey tbh!

He doesn't play a holding role. He's an attacking midfielder/2nd striker.

So because you have never heard of him he's automatically no good, and you don't want him lol, I'm sure Chris nos his job better then you do

West brom are leading the chase for him

Got nothing to do with not hearing of him you numbty! I read reports on him, look at how he plays in videos online etc! Actually do my research rather than just simply getting a hard on at the first site of someone foreign coming to the club!

Someone wrote Shelvey is unproven, so is this guy, never played in the EPL has a terrible scoring record for the national side and pundits all say his misses are what has relegated him to the bench fr the national team. He is also a dirty player, always diving and getting other players sent off. That would not fit in or go down well in England and he would be battered by the epl players! Finally he isn't the kind of player we need, we would be persons to use him as an out and our striker (not his natural position) so he would surely be used in the hole as a CAM. So then you have to ask 1. Is he better than Wes (probably on par tbf but Wes is quicker and more skill full at passing however this guy is older) 2. Is he better than others we COULD get in that role? No he isn't certainly not for 5mill! I would much rather spend 8mill (which we have to spend easily on a great pacey attacking midfielder who is a great passer than this guy!

I feel the same about hooper I think we can get better for less! If we do get him the board will NOT pay more than 6.5mill! And even then that's too high! There are better options out there! Be patient and good things will come, I trust in CH and the board but I do however not particularly like this guy I don't see him as a step forward.

As someone wrote on here just because he's tall, foreign and scores goals does NOT mean he is a great acquisition!

Actually he ain't a bad player and would be a good signing for NCFC, the likes of everton and fulham have been looking at him so he can't be bad, a strong player as well so could well suit the prem, have to wait and see but could be good.

12 Jun 2013 17:22:27
Toivonen is better than all of the norwich players and he would be a great signing for any mid-table team. much better than wes hoolahan

Better than all the norwich players?! Get a life mate! Utter BS! John Ruddy, Seb Bassong, Robert Snodgrass, Anthony Pilkington, Wes Hoolahan, Grant Holt have all earned their place in the EPL they are quality players!

Ola is not for us, even his comments in the press are arrogant and not what I want at my club.

In reference to other teams like Everton and West Brom looking at him. Just because a team are looking at him doesn't mean they are going to buy them. I work in A&R I go to on average 7 gigs a week to look at bands I have heard about, so I watch about 21-28 bands perform per week. I sign maybe 1 band every 3 months! He is most likely being watched purely because of his very public dispute over his contract!

He is not the right fit for city!

Toivonen's press comments are nothing to be worried about. The fact is that he doesn't watch EPL.

Nontheless he will know by now that Norwich City don't play long ball and that we have signed players from Lazio and Sporting, so he will be in good company. He will know about our league, he will know about our Club and he will know that we are a debt free club with an improving side.

The facts speak for themselves.

Maybe the intended reason for his comment was to show respect to the fans of his current club, PSV, which is no bad thing.

He cannot really comment on a transfer move when it hasn't all been agreed. What if he ends up staying at PSV? Perhaps he should really have said "no comment" but how many of us would have?

To those City fans who think Ola should show more respect to us- He is a PSV player right now. He is not our player. If he does decide to join us we may find we have signed not just a good player but a loyal one too.

Or because he wants to join west brom

Possibly, however it is impossible to know and there is no record of West Brom having made an offer. Just speculation that his agent has contacts at West Brom and that he must have touted his player to them.

He will join fulham fc for 2 millions and he is quiet good 22 matchs and 10 goals in the last season

11 Jun 2013 14:41:16
Vermin Anita is wanted by Fulham

Also Bent & Pieters will have medicals at Motspur Park very soon.

11 Jun 2013 09:08:02
Bent to have a medical at Fulham on, this deal will be closely followed by a PSV double raid for Pieters and Toivonen

11 Jun 2013 15:21:37
Toivonen more likely than Bent (high wages and bigger fee)

11 Jun 2013 08:01:54
Fulham to make a 5m offer for Ipswich duo Aaron cresswell and jay Emmanuel Thomas- I understand cresswell would be loaned back for the season as part of the deal.

I didn't think Fulham had a big transfer budget this window?

Cresswell worth 5 mill on his own and jet worth near 1 mill so town can get some money near what they paid for him

Can't see this as Fulham haven't got money to be buying and loaning players back out. £5m for both I would take with Trotta coming to ITFC as well.

If that was the offer on the table I would take take take.

Creswell is good and even though I would like to keep him, I can't see it happening with this much interest. Sell when in demand
