Leyton Orient are very close to losing two players this week after Russell Slade declared in defeat that he would lose striker Dave Mooney and midfielder Marc Laird.
Irish forward Mooney has been given permission to speak to both Colchester United and Aston Villa. The 27 year old is seeking a one year deal at either clubs.
Midfielder Laird has also been given permission to speak to other clubs and recently held talks with Everton over a surprise one month rolling contract.

Hull City owner Assem Allam is set to make the club for sale as he looks to buy another football club. The Egyptian is set to dramtically buy Barnsley Football Club as he looks to spread his wings to the other side of Yorkshire as he feels the City of Hull are not accepting what hye's trying to do.
The 72 year old is set to give Barnsley boss Keith Hill fund to bring in players and the former Rochdale man has already opened talks with three players.
The first is thought to be Ipswich midfielder Josh Carson. The 18 year old has been told by Town boss Paul Jewell he can sign on loan for the season elsewhere and Hill is set to take advantage of this offer to sign this future star.
Another Northern Ireland international in Sammy Clingan is also set to join the Oakwell side. The Coventry midfielder is wanted also by Leeds but is thought to turn down the opportunity to link up with United as he knows a number of players in South Yorkshire, who have expressed how good a manager Keith Hill is. A deal worth around £700,000 will be struck in the next week and the former Nottingham Forest player will sign a three year deal.
Finally, Wolves defender Jody Craddock has been told he will be released in the summer and will sign a one year contract at Oakwell. The 36 year old is expected to give it one more year at professional football and could end it at Oakwell. The former Sunderland, Cambridge and Sheffield United player will be the highest paid player at Barnsley on around £10,000 a week.
