Local journo source quoting the Brighton Chairman Tony Bloom is meeting with Roberto DiMatteo and asked for permission to talk to Eddie Howe from Bournemouth.

Eddie Howe is apparently the number 1 target.

Can't see Eddie being interested in moving to Brighton, or Mitchell allowing them to talk to him given length of contract

Possible but unlikely. Eddie has just returned to AFCB. Last week he was told by the Board that there will be no interferance in the team. He has been given a massive budget. He is in the Championship. He lives 15 minutes away from the club. His family are happy.
Now if Brighton had gone into the Premier League then it might be a different story

It will be di matto

Havin' a laugh

He wouldn't want Eddie Howe if he is meeting with di Matteo he will get di matteo

This must be the same person who said one of their reserve player lewis dunk is valued at 3m

Can't see Arter going Eddie and others have put a lot of faith in him over the past couple of years with the amount of yellows he's had

Eddie howe will have the biggest budget in the championship (fact ) and has no reason to leave. the next 3 weeks will show our intentions. {Ed003's Note - A bold statement.}

Owls fan in peace what went off poyet, really thought you had the manager to take you up playing good football.

Alan Boksic. Croation national team asst mgr. This has come up before. i'd support this. Great credentials.

18 May 2013 23:23:16
Bournemouth to sign Nathan Ake on loan until January and Lewis Dunk for £210k from Brighton

210k for dunk? I assume you don't mean Lewis as he is valued at 3mil plus and probably isn't up for being relegated to league one!

Assume you know little; AFCB are a Championship club and highly funded by Max Denim

19 May 2013 08:07:06
Strange. seeing as he's been injured and not played really for afcb. why weren't they going for him when bmth bought him in Jan

He probably wants to stay at Brighton as it is a really steady ship at the moment with a really settled manager who has the full support of the club *thumb to nose* HONK! HONK!

Yeah, championship this season, league one next. And where did your ridiculously low valuation of dunk come from? Or are you just making it up!

Dunk won't leave Brighton for Bournemouth. We haven't got a new manager yet so we''re unaware whether his/her plans for the future will include Dunky

I don't know where you got your information from but he can't even get into afcb first team yet so I don't think he will be going to southampton

18 May 2013 20:24:55
Eddie Howe is a contender for the Brighton job if and when Gus Poyet leaves.
Other targets include Roberto Martinez, Roberto Di Matteo and former player Nicky Forster

I want di matto {Ed034's Note - di matteo has said he will only go to a team in the top flight

I think the bookies would have thought of that before they put him as favourite so highly doubt he said that {Ed001's Note - you have no idea how bookmaking works! The more money placed on, the lower the odds. It is that simple, nothing to do with them thinking.}

Actually DiMatteo has been at the Amex watching the last three games, so there's more legs to this possible appointment than you might think. {Ed001's Note - he is Poyet's mate! Zola has been at as many of the games as he could as well, is he being lined up too?}

19 May 2013 19:12:37
Ed di matteo is a mate off gus but who cares if he wants to get back in football he will come to brighton and how can Zola be at the Amex when we are playing I would had though he would had been at Watford {Ed001's Note - I wasn't saying anything about whether he would be the new manager, I was merely pointing out why he was at the games. Nothing to do with looking to take the job, everything to do with supporting a mate. Teams do play on different days at times you know, that was how Zola was there, like when he was sat by Di Matteo during the last play off semi final. I have no idea if he Di Matteo has any interest in the Brighton job, but it is idiotic to suggest him being there the last few games shows he is interested!}

18 May 2013 20:16:38
Owen Coyle next brighton manager inside in info

You're welcome to him

18 May 2013 22:35:37
Don't want him it is what it is

18 May 2013 22:46:48
If he come's to brighton I will cry. We want Di Matteo

17 May 2013 12:38:11
Brighton will offer striker Ashley Barnes a one year extension after triggering an appearance clause in his contract.

Ashley Barnes has all ready signed a one year contract extension. So has Gordon Greer, Peter Brezovan and Inigo Calderon.

17 May 2013 13:16:33
If Palace are promoted, they are likely to sign Brighton winger Will Buckley in order to fill the hole left by Wilf's absence.

No chance

Not a chance

Not even the slimest of chances. Even if Gius leaves, club will still want to be competitive.

Not a chance in hell

Why would Brighton sell one of their star players to a rival club

Errr they did do it with Murray!?

Glenn Murray?

18 May 2013 21:35:28
We sold Glenn Murray but tbh not many players sign a 5-year deal and then leave. Especially to a rival that we are currently having bigger issues with.

Um well we didn't sell Glenn murray, we released him after a contract couldn't be agreed. He then went on to sign for palace on a free. Brighton would not willingly sell one of thee star players to their bitter rivals.

17 May 2013 12:57:43
Bournemouth are in talks with defender Marcos Painter. Manager Eddie Howe is keen on Championship experienced defenders and the 26 year old left back has experience with Brighton most notably.

He was at AFCB on loan a few months back and was awful. In the end he was sent back to Brighton so I don't think EH will be interested somehow. Better options available.

, hysterical - are you aware he came to us on loan towards the end of last season? he was hauled off at half time in both his appearances for being an absolute shower and was subsequently sent back to brighton as eddie howe said something along the lines of 'we don't have time to bed people in' as painter was devoid of any sort of confidence, composure or match fitness - and you reckon we're in talks to sign him permanently? give the manager a little more credit

Dont be silly he was shocking when he was on loan earlier in the season, he was sent beack early because of his poor performcances

Unlikely due to his pretty dismal showing whilst on loan this season! But I suppose given more game time and fitness training he could prove me wrong and chalk that up to just being rusty

Painter was awful in the game he played he would get a lot of abuse if he came back and Eddie sent him back he was that bad

This post is just mischief, why would Eddie Howe want him when he didn't even play when he was on loan

Haha, good one. He came on loan last season, was absolute bobbins and got sent back after only a few games. No thanks!

Rubbish. Painter was so bad, Eddie sent him back early and he has been appalling since he returned to Brighton.

Eddie wouldn't be interested did you see him when he was on loan early this season

He was on loan and awful not a true rumour

Painter? He came on loan and played in two games. but only for half a match before being substituted. Never coming to see him back here. he had a dreadful time!

This must have been posted by Marcus Painter he never completed a Full game during his 2 game laon spell

After his loan period at Bournemouth this is a rumour that is a definite NO , his time here was a nightmare, he was quickly returnd to his parent club marked" return to sender, contents damaged ".

Better not be, pile of crap. Love chazza anyway. We don't need him

I think he heard that Bournemouth were looking to hire "a painter" to paint the north stand

Marcos the painter for the new south stand

17 May 2013 12:55:12
Leyton Orient are set to sign former Brighton and UCD midfield Gary Dicker on a two year contract.

Would be a great signing for orient. He is a quality league 1 player.

Agree. Dicker is like Dawson, but with more skill.

Good luck to Gary Dicker in the future after being relesed by Brighton.

16 May 2013 22:41:10
Gus Poyet suspended by Brighton. suspected to be over Summer transfer budget?

He's Wigan bound should Martinez go to Malaga or Everton

17 May 2013 01:10:23
was something to do with breaching terms in his contract, but there was another 2 suspended, one of them was his assistant

They can't be suspended for disagreeing with transfer budgets. They must be suspected of breakubg their contract ie talking to another club without permission. My hunch is its Everton not Wigan they have spoken to. Brighton would opt to suspend these 3 highly valued members of staff unless it's very serious.

Poyet's suspended because of remarks he made about Brighton and chairman Tony Bloom after the Palace 2nd leg. Also suspended because he wants moe money for transfer budget. Don't see why Assitant manager Tarricco and Coach Charlie Oatway.

Brighton have extended the contracts of captain Gordon Greer, Inigo Calderon, Will Hoskins, Peter Brezovan and Ashley Barnes have signed a 1 year contract extension at Brighton. Brighton have also offered contracts to Adam El-Abd and David Lopez, but havn't responded yet. Gary Dicker, Vicente and Marcos Painter have been told they won't be offered a new contract.

Suspended because he is a bottle job. For a man that likes a passing style of play and free flowing. he sure did like to defend a lot! bye bye gus. bring in di'matteo

I've heard that Gus has been suspended because his contract states that he can't talk to the media about moving clubs.
Also the other 2 are suspended because Gus, Tarricco and Oatway had a meeting with chairman Tony Bloom and demanded more money for transfers or they'd walk away so Tony Bloom has told them that he makes the decisions about transfer budgets and no one is bigger than the club. Bye Bye Gus. Bring in Neil Warnock. He's good at getting teams promoted to the Premiership.

It's a matter of time until Poyet leaves, I just hope Brighton get a new manager and staff at the club early so they have the whole summer to work with the squad.

Replacement - Darren Ferguson from demoted Peterborough - will get the best out of CMS for sure!

Roberto Di Mateo will be our next manager. He went to the Brighton Vs Palace game with Zola. He's intrested in coming down here.

Di Mateo was at the Brighton vs Wolves game as well

16 May 2013 19:03:24
Despite the rumours surrounding Bournemouth, it is very unlikely Charlie Austin will sign for the club. The other targets including Nahki Wells are also unlikely however Lewis Dunk from Brighton is a definite possibility. Stephane Zubar will be sold and Dunk is a target for Eddie Howe.
The other targets include Stephen Davies from Bristol City however he has been linked with Derby and Howe also wants one more central midfielder. He has looked at Murray Davidson from the SPL and Chris McCann from Burnley who will be available on a free.

Don't expect numerous signings though as Howe is happy with the nucleus of his squad and will only add in certain areas.

'unlikely' might mean chances are slim but there's still some likelihood, i'd say you're hedging your bets, nothing has been decided yet - in eddie howe's meeting with max demin this week he has been given the green light to go ahead and pursue all of his targets, and once eddie howe gets to work he gets his man more often than not

Bournemuff wake up you can't afford Austin and he won't be with you move on live within your means or be back where you were a few years back you ain't a big club you are just waiting for your Russian guy to pull the plug and you know it.

'very unlikely' actually :' (

afcb1

^^ Haha Bournemuff. Grow up, would ya. We can afford Austin but overall because of the price & the fact the club is only looking to establish it's self as a championship club this wouldn't happen & also Prem clubs have been probing him.

I just don't see why Austin would sign for Bournemouth. He could quite easily step up to the Prem, so why would he go to a newly-promoted Champ team that, as with all promoted sides, will look to stave off relegation?

He won't sign for Bournemouth unfortunately as his fee will be too high. I know he keeps harping on about coming back south but its his own fault really, he should of done his research on burnley and the surrounding areas before moving up there.

For your information Bomo could establish them selves as a premier league team! i'm sick of theses fans of boring typical championship teams who keep saying we're a small team! bournemouths fan base is in poole and chirstchurch as well (the South East Dorset conurbation) with a population of half a million

so I can't see why we are a *small* team? I know we don't have much history in the championship but I can't see why we can't create some?

small team in a big city!

Austin moved to Burnley because of no other reason than, Eddie Howe!
And now when the shoe is on the other foot, Burnley supporters don't' believe that he did it once then he can do it again. He actually lives outside Burnley but the climate and other reasons make it unsuitable now he has a family to look after.
When Eddie left, Charlie twitted that "family comes first" Quote.
Now he is in exactly the same position as his good friend

Ok sure mate wot ever, BOOOORING. Its not really that cold up north, us real northeners manage to bring our families up fine here, its you fairy southeners always moaning that its too cold. #GETAGRIP

Anybody know what's happening with Demouge? He's scored 5 in 9 while on loan at Roda and has always scored goals in the Dutch top flight. I can't understand why we haven't given him a fair go? I rate him

16 May 2013 09:30:23
Plymouth to sign Anton Rodgers and George Barker on loan from Brighton

That would be good experience for them to go on loan at Plymouth.

16 May 2013 08:57:47
It is reported on Metro website that Brighton will approach Charlton manager Chris Powell should Gus Poyet decide to leave the Amex stadium.

Why would he go? club legend here and he's said he wants to lead us back to the prem.

Good one

Chris Powell is a fantastic manager, but he loves Charlton, and they are a very good side, good bunch of lads, when they came to us in the midweek game, shame it was 0-0, but I can't see it, more likely we will go like for like.

Not Powell I want I'd matto

Please say that's a made up rumour. on't want Powell as new manager. I want Neil Warnock. He's good at getting teams from the Championship to the Premiership. If not him, maybe Tony Pulis if he leaves Stoke.

15 May 2013 19:20:22
Jacques Maghoma is wanted by Brentford, Doncaster, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Shrewsbury, Rotherham, Ipswich, Bournemouth, Palace, Westbrom, Bradford, Brighton, Leeds, Birmingham, Leicester, Millwall and Derby.

Any1 else think uve covered every team in that post

Nice and specfic, then

Competition is low then

15 May 2013 20:59:02
There is now way all of those teams want a league 2 player, espeicially cardiff and leicter. Besides boro are favouretes to sign him, and an earlier post said we already did.

From what I hear its a done deal at middlesbrough.

You forgot Dortmund, Bayern, PSG and Barcelona.

Anyone else I think you might have missed one!!

Haha. No chance. A prem team? No way in hell.

If your going to name that many teams just say every team in the football league.

You forgot QPR they like to sign everyone

You forgot to mention Charlton, Leeds and Leicester.

15 May 2013 15:52:31
Brighton are looking to take striker Noel Hunt from Reading on a free in the summer as the Reading forward rejected a 1 year extension

Works hard but lacks quality

We do we keep signing players over 30. In Poyet's first press conference he said he would bring in young english players. All he's brought in is old players and spanish players

He has brought young English players in i. e. buckley, bridcutt, lua lua,

Would be a decent signing for you

Bridcutt's scottish and LuaLua's from Congo.

Bridcutt's english with a scottish grandfather get your facts right

14 May 2013 17:36:53
Stoke look set to bid £3 million for Brighton Midfielder Will Buckley

Why are stoke linked with every brighton player

Liam Bridcutt is NOT out of contract as he signed a new contract a few months ago and is valued in excess of £5m

Buckley is not worth that he cost more than that and he is under contract

Buckley cost £1m so HA would consider £3m I would think and then replace him for less and make a profit.

We rejected a £5M bid.

I've not heard anything about a £5m bid.

14 May 2013 17:33:02
Stoke are looking to sign Crystal Palace Midfielder Mile Jedinak for £3 million and Brighton Midfielders Ashley Barnes and Liam Bridcutt both out of contract in the summer

This is to replace Dean Whitehead who is set to be released and Glenn Whelan who looks likely to leave Stoke For £3 million with Cardiff, Hull and Celtic Interested

Birdcutt has 3 years left on his contract

Birdcutt has 3 years left on his contract

Bridcutt is not out of contract in the summer. He has another two years on his contract and will cost up to 5 Million.

Why is every stoke player linked with hull??

Sorry reading your post. Barnes. Midfielder? I know he act's like one, however he is a Striker.

Barnes in a striker, not a midfielder

Whelan set to be sold for 3Mil, got to be joking! For a player that doesn't even feature in your first XI?

Whelan has consistanly started for pulis.

Whelan starts every week

Bridcutt is still in contract, Whelan starts regularly for stoke I think pretty much all of them bar Tottenham and Jedinak is not worth 3mil not even worth 1 mil he's 29 peaked and playing in the championship we can do better i. e. Keisuke Honda, Adel Taarabt and Darren Ambrose etc

Adel to stoke that'd be amusing but it won't happen shame because he'd cause longball bullyboy tactics Pullis nightmares. Anyway he's in france as I write this with his agents discussing a move to Monaco and will miss QPR's last game at anfield

14 May 2013 14:44:08
Gus Poyet is to leave Brighton for the vacant Everton position.

Sad but true : (

Why would Everton who has just failed his latest test. This speculation is based on misinterpreted view of his interview on tv. He will be Brighton manager next season and lead them to automatic promotion if the finance for the players he needs to strengthen the side is made available.

Would like to see him replace Pulis at Stoke and Martinez to take the Everton Job

Gus Poyet has always said that the team need to keep progressing for him to stay. And In my opinion if you would have said to Poyet at the start of his Brighton career that within 4 years of him taking the job "Brighton will be fighting in the playoffs" he would have laughed and said that your crazy. Truth is we have just signed a brand new shirt sponsor with "American Express " rumoured to be worth 8 million over 3 seasons. and a club chairman that is rich and a massive Brighton fan. Poyet will want to FINISH the JOB at Brighton and see how far he can take it before he is done. and then when as he say's the club "hit a roof" he will consider his options. don't ask a man that is fiercely competitive after a massive game of disappointment to comment, Very Very unfair and not a true reflection of his admiration for the club.

Whoever Poyet goes to he's going to try and sign Brighton's best players. Buckley, Bridcutt, Ulloa and he'll get Bridge from City

15 May 2013 20:19:03
Well he won't be going to Everton then, if he can't hack life in the championship with a shoe string budget he certainly won't last in the premiership with no money! Everton have never had any great financial clout so he will be jumping out the frying pan into the fire. Anybody that follows Moyes will have it tough!0

I don't see why Everton would want Poyet anyway

David Moyes Come from a chapionship team and look how well he did. so with Gus on his way out don't see why not.

Poyet and Moyes are two different managers, who play two different styles of football.

14 May 2013 13:52:48
Brightons, Liam Bridcutt is set to sign for Stoke City

Is he tall enough. Stokebluebird

Maybe so but bidding will start at 6 Million.

14 May 2013 13:13:32
Stoke are "looking" at the following Free summer agents
Chris Cohen -Nottingham Forest
Lewis Mcgugan - Nottingham Forest
Lewis Dunk - Brighton
Liam Bridcutt - Brighton
Ashley Barnes - Brighton
Neil Eardley - Blackpool
Chris Brunt - West Brom
Maynor Figueroa - Wigan
Danny Simpson - Newcastle
Lee Camp - Norwich
Franco Di Santo - Wigan {Ed034's Note - chris cohen is under contract and certainly will not be available on a free

Chris brunt free agent?

Cohen is under contract

I would hope stoke could sign Danny Simpson and Di Santo

Bridcutt and Simpson will sign for Stoke

Chris Brunt has still got a contract at west brom, is the captain and will not be joining lwly Stoke3

Chris Brunt Free Agent?! Are you being for real?!

West brom to sell chris brunt? that's like rooney going to Accrington Stanley, never going to happen, he is our skipper, although he can play rubbish at times

So stoke currently have Begovic, Soerson and Butland and they are going to want Lee Camp.

Bridcutt is definitely a target for a lot of clubs. massive massive loss to Brighton,

Briddcutt will not sign for stoke for two reasons. One; he isn't out of contract, and two; wouldn't sign for a club where he won't be able to play the ball along the floor

Norwich or cardiff are the most likely to buy bridcutt

If Stoke want Eardley I'll drive him there myself!

If Stoke want Eardley lol what for? to clean the boots in the boot room maybe

14 May 2013 12:24:51
Bristol City are hoping to start talks with Brighton's Will Hoskins in the next week, City are preparing to lose the likes of Sam Baldock and Steve Davies. They have received many enquiries about Davies already.

Not going to happen

Hoskins just signed a 1 year extension contract with Brighton. He won't go now

14 May 2013 11:20:24
Brighton Scout Paul Hall has been tracking Shrewsbury Winger Jon Taylor since the Shrewsbury-Colchester United game prior to Christmas when he caught his eye while on a trip to watch a Colchester player.

Brighton are now expected to make a move after their Playoff failure means Championship football next season.

Oh rub it in why don't you. Could have been looking at flair players from the continent and now we're going to have to look at Shrewsbury players after last night :-)

Don't agree. Brighton will be of course disappointed with the playoff result, however give it 2 weeks or so. and then be even more determined to go into Automatic places next season. so signing unproven good league 1 players is not on Poyet's agenda. he will target talented skillfull players for 2013 - 14 campaign.

Why would Brighton won't him. He'll be in the reserves and on the bench for ages.

14 May 2013 09:53:30
Doncaster interested in: free agent Zakuani from peterborough following their relegation. Granty boy McCann may also follow. El Hadji Diouf may return after he fell out with Mcdermot (brighton game). Billy sharp may return to be worshipped once more by the keepmoat faithful as may former skipper Brian stock. Following Wolves relegation, a reduced fee would be accepted for Kevin Doyle (around the 1 million pound mark). Rovers are also intersted in Spurs wonderkid Tom Carrol on a season long loan, and may also get John Lumstram on a permanent deal following Moyes departure from Everton.

Diouf didn't fall out with McDermott after Brighton game. Billy Sharp won't be going to Doncaster as other teams have already expressed an interest.

Donny won't spend £1m on a player and that comes from Donny fans I know

Zakuani is not out of contract he has just handed in a transfer request. GET FACTS RIGHT!

What an awful rumour. None of the above possible. Why would we sign, stock, sharp won't come back, and kevin Doyle? Really?

First of all we haven't a chance of getting sharp back, saints would probably want 3 million they would want to loose money on his sale, second of all why do you think we would spend 1million on a single player the rovers board have only done that for sharp very little chance of it happening again

Zakuani not on a free he still has 12 months to run.

14 may 2013 12:47:25
terry butcher will become doncaster rovers manager on thursday, fact i work for inverness he's been in advanced talks with rovers since monday, needs to be in place by weekend so dealings on players can start

14 May 2013 13:12:15
Donny won't spent 1 million? They got Billy Sharp for over 1 million. They've got the money, who says they won't spend it?

Free agent Zakuani? don't think so pal. he has a year left. Transfer listed, but you can't afford him :)

Zakuani has 1 year left on his contract.

Since Monday? It's on Tuesday? Talks can't be that advanced with butcher

The board say we won't be spending a lot and that's true it's been said in the free press that they won't overhaul the squad they will be looking at free transfers and loans the reporters for the free Press have confirmed this

If zakuani has one year left on his contract then were going to have to sell him now or he wil go on a free next season because he will be out of contract

Zakuani has a year left on his contract, but has refused an extension, so club policy comes into play where as the player is put on the transfer list as appossed to letting them run out the contract. Clear?

Zakuani has a year left on his contract, but has refused an extension, so club policy comes into play where as the player is put on the transfer list as appossed to letting them run out the contract. Clear?

Yes Butcher will become Rovers manager, but not till Tuesday next week. Like any other job the interviewers know who they want. other 3 been interviewd at length are Dickov, Wilson and Warnock, ,, But BUTCHER to win the race.

14 May 2013 20:53:53
Zakuani maybe, but not McCann. Offered a new contract, which he seems set to sign if his twitter posts are anything to go by.

What a terrible rumour. El Hadji Diouf won't come back, he's a money grabber, stock isn't good enough, injury prone, sharp has interest from other clubs but IS a possibility, and that Peterbrough CB that barely played last season. No thanks!

13 May 2013 23:59:45
Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £10 million after their recent play-off loss to crystal palace.

Will Buckley
Ashley Barnes
Liam Bridcutt

Along with Gus Poyet

I don't really know anything about these players but assume they are all 6ft plus and leave their feet in when challenging - in which case, they'll be great for Stoke!

14 May 2013 11:49:49
Well Ashley Barnes is useful with his elbows so he would fit in with Stoke. Bridcutt is out of contract, so don't know where the £10m comes from. very generous of Stoke I would say!

Id take 10 million for those 3 based on last nights performance.

BRIDCUTT IS NOT OUT OF CONTRACT!

Bridcutt wouldn't go to stoke; he likes passing football

Bridcutt IS out of contract. He only signed a 2 year deal in 2011

15 May 2013 08:18:45
Why would Stoke want 3 Brighton players? Have a day off

Bridcutt is NOT out of contract, he signed a 2 year extension in 2013. Stop getting rumours from football manager!

13 May 2013 22:10:10
Cardiff ins:
Danny Simpson FREE from Newcastle
Robert Huth £4m from Stoke
Kazenga Lualua £3m from Brighton
Jon Walters £3m Stoke
Tom Huddlestone £5m Tottenham
Expect a signing from Argentina!

Outs:
Fillip Kiss £150k to Barnsley
Steve McPhail FREE to Oldham
Etien Velikonja loan to Hoffenheim
Declan John £4m to Tottenham
Ben Nugent loan to Newport
Craig Conway £1m to Burnley or Huddersfield

Huth, no chance, Walters, take him

I would take lualua he is a big talent

With the money Cardiff City have you can't see Declan John going anywhere one real prospect that Malky likes

You won't be getting Huth, and you won't be getting Walters as long as Pulis is our manager.

No one is buying john off us

Lualua no chance

I don't want any of those players!

No chance you're getting Huth, and teams at a higher quality want Walters so that's unlikely too

Mcphail has been looked at by Swindon but his wages were far too high so I think Oldham may struggle a bit with that one.

I would take 3 million for Kazenga any day of the week on last nights performance.

Huth is worth at least £8 million and I doubt he would leave stoke for Cardiff

14 May 2013 16:10:52
lualua is terrible from what i've seen league one not premier league

Why would Cardiff want LuaLua. He hardly started for Brighton this season. The only time he played was as a sub. No way Cardiff would want him.

13 May 2013 15:20:27
Afc wimbledon have made a move to bring former loanee Brennan Dickenson back permanently. The Brighton wingers loan wasnt extended due to injury.

Brennan Dickenson is a striker, not a winger

14 May 2013 13:49:05
Played very well on the left wing for us I thought, would be pleased to have him back, thought we missed his balance with saint Luce when he left. Be exciting to see hat he could do with a run in the first team.

He played on the wing for AFCWimbledon and done a great job, I've heard this rumour from elsewhere also

Played on the wing for us

He plays upfront for Brighton's development squad

We won't sell him yet

Brennan Dickenson will be a future star for Brighton. If Poyet or another manager sells him they'll be sorry when he's scoring goals against us in 4 or 5 years time.

Bobby zamora to join brighton if they manage to get to the prem as qpr have been relegated. expected to be a 2 year deal as he is a senior player now.

Come on Brighton

It seams to be all if's and buts when it comes to this so why woudl it be spoken about.

13 May 2013 19:14:30
This rumour surfaces EVERY transfer window and it never happens.

Not going to happen (sadly) as
a) he is on stupid money at qpr
b) he just isn't very good anymore (his return would be a let down for Brighton fans as we have such wonderful memories of when he was awesome)

Asmir Begovic - Sold - £12 million - Arsenal/Man Utd
Matthew Etherington - Sold - £2 million - Hull

Jamie Ness -Loan - Motherwell
Florent Cuvelier - Loan - Peterborough

Wilson Palacios would like to leave Stoke However a buyer is unlikely to take the risk due to his lack of football and injury record

Matthew etherington is not worth that and hull are better off with what they have

Hope Cuvelier doesn't come back to us, he was horse when he came on loan last time

Cuvelier is a great young talent his goal kept Walsall up a season or two ago don't blame him for your relegation

He played 5 minutes for Posh, bit wrong to call him a 'horse!'

Ryan Shotton won't be released he's a talented young player who has recently become a first team regular. And although there is 100% no chance of it happening I would live to see him back at oakwell. COYR

Chris Wood or Matej Vydra to go to West Brom.
Lukaku and Chalobah to Swansea however Chalobah may go to Brighton

Why would he go back to somewhere he's not wanted?

ShrewWolf

12 May 2013 21:16:22
Vydra and Chalobah will both be at Watford next season in the Prem.
HornetJ

13 May 2013 10:03:18
Watford aren't quite in the prem just yet. still got 1 out of 2 good teams standing in their way!

Vydra will join a bigger club, west brom won't wood back either

Lukaku to swansea lol who makes these up total rubbish

Himself has hinted! Ha ha if he does not get into the Chelsea first team then wants to be loaned to a team where he can play in the prem as well as Europe. Chelsea won't sell to a champions league rival so it's out of swansea or Wigan. I know which one he might choose google it and you will see the news!

Wood was not given the chance, but we put rosenberg in, an appalling decision by someone, did no one see roy hodgson on sky saying you don't know about a young player till you try them

Mark my words he will stay at west brom before going to swansea

Well i'm a west brom fan and attended the end of season awards where you get to speak to the players and lukaku will not be at swansea or any other epl side next year other than chelsea or wba or abroad

Dont believe everything you read in the papers lukaku will stay another year at wba if chelsea let him his words not mine

Lukaku may not be at west brom especially if jose mourinho is back because he is stingy and won't see west brom as a good team

although we are pride of the midlands and be in top half of the table all season

It be good if lukaku stayed

BUT he's VERY GOOD FRIENDS WITH CLARKE

Stoke are looking to bid for Brighton Trio for £9 million
Liam Bridcutt
Will Buckley
Ashley Barnes

Sorry but Bridcutt is likely worth 9 million alone.

As if. The guy isn't that good

Well he is?

Stoke would never buy Barnes and Bridcutt is probably worth 5million + as he is so young

Bridcutt is out of contract mate

12 May 2013 10:51:12
Bridcutt is worth 10 million at least, and that's coming from a palace fan, swallowing my pride. I'd say he's world class, watching him last Friday he was different class

Even if he's out if contract he will sign another one without hesitation!

Bridcutt has another season on his contract. This has been done to death

Bird cut isn't out of contract!

Why do people randomly claim someone is out of contract? Bridcutt has a contract up until June 2015.

12 May 2013 23:00:53
Bridcutt has 2 years left on his contract, get your facts right

Stoke players have done well 4 us by keeping us in the prem this long ' when people had us down 2 be relegated straight away ' I think pulis should stop buying players that are injury prone or players that have little/no premiership experience. I think with Owen retiring I would like 2 c Defoe 'and a good defender' at the end of the day if we are 2 stay in the prem we need 2 b finishing in the top half as the premier league is getting tighter and tighter every season

I really think some people (not everyone) make up things they want 2 believe ' there that many people saying different things 'im really not being funny ' but we should have more faith in our clubs/managers ' i'm sure they know way they r doing
