Vaughan is Derby's first target, but with him looking set to join Huddesfield (my sources) as they are offering higher wages and Clough isn't willing to break the wage structure to bring him to the club.

Derby do have back up targets, and they include two young strikers. Will Grigg of Walsall and Johnny Russell of Dundee United.

Clough has personally watched both and will make inquiries for both after Vaughan makes his final decision. {Ed003's Note - Russell was on about moving abroad last I saw and I don't mean England}

I'll answer that one for you Ed. The club and Russell both came out and said that this 'wanting to go abroad' was just hot air from his agent trying to manufacture a deal. I recall hearing Russell parted ways with his agent over that but that might just be hearsay.

I saw players on that list that were non Auld firm. And it mist out guys like Noel Hunt with Dundee United getting promoted at Reading. Or Hoovelt going up at Southampton a Celtic reserve player. Also every player has there price, even players in England. So that is a stupid thing to say. What if Inverness sell players, there boss makes up a new squad the next year from free transfers and his youth system. Butcher is a miracle worker, with what he has done for them. Sutherland is a good young ICT player, likes scoring against Celtic when they win.

13 May 2013 18:27:32
Derby County's search for their 4th striker (Sammon, Martin, Ward and. ) will begin to take shape in the coming weeks.

Potential Signing:

Vaughan - Norwich City
Jackson - Norwich City
Russell - Dundee United
Nugent - Leicester City
Fryatt - Hull City
Griffiths - Wolverhampton Wanderers
Ebans Blake - Wolverhampton Wanderers (Injured)
Ashley Barnes - Brighton and Hove Albion

Vaughan is the clear target however Huddersfield Town and Derby have massive interest in the player and both are waiting for eachother to make the initial bid to Norwich. Expect the Terriers to bid first as they will have been speaking to James about a potential permanent move while he was on loan there.

Can have chopra for a fiver itfc Steve

Barnes no way near

13 May 2013 15:30:05
Right back Stephen O'Donnell has agreed a pre-contract with Dundee United from Partick Thistle. Dundee United are concerned with Keith Watson's knee problem and have moved swiftly to sign the ex Celtic youth player.

12 May 2013 14:47:34
Former Dumbarton goalkeeping coach Craig Gordon is to join Partick Thistle as a replacement for Craig Hinchcliffe who is leaving to Dundee United

11 May 2013 14:06:33
Doncaster are set to place a new manager by the end of next week when the Premier League season ends as they are waiting to approach Phil Neville.

Also they have enquired about Dundee United duo Johnny Russel and Gary Mackay-Steven with the fee to be expected around £2,000,000 for both.

2 million for both, in your dreams. Also both are good enough to play at a higher level, its why the Sicilians have already bid for Russell. David Goodwillie cost £2 million he had a year to run on his deal like him. Why would they let a better player go for less? And GMS is signed up, so they would want even more for him. Maybe double the £2 million maybe more, as the guys quality. Wee McGeady cost £9 million, he is is the same quality as him might even have more skill.

Phil Neville to be Moyes assistant at united

I'm sure I read that Phil Neville will be part of the new coaching team at Utd under Moyes.

Why do people think we are going to be spending millions? Next to never done that and why would we want a person who has never managed a club in his life stfu

11 May 2013 00:21:33
Leeds United, Bolton Wanderers and Leicester city set to compete for the signature of Gary Mackay-Steven, who looks likely to leave Dundee United during the summer.

Even though he has stated clearly that he is happy at Dundee Utd and doesn't want to move.

09 May 2013 14:15:13
Dundee United looking into bringing in adam rooney and scott arfield after both were released from thier respective clubs

09 May 2013 15:10:17
keep up to date Adam Rooney has signed for Swindon and it was done a few weeks ago.

08 May 2013 17:08:53
Ipswich after Scotland defender Berra
Birmingham after Motherwell Nicky Law
Jordan Allan Airdrie to Fulham he is 14
Lech Proznan after Barry Douglas Dundee United

Wee Ally

Ipswich going to make Stearman permanent aswell

04 May 2013 20:39:41
Leeds to sign dundee united winger gary mackay- steven this summer for a fee of around 1.2 million

Nonsense. Going to cardif

I don't think Mackay-Steven would come to Leeds. Would love it if he did though!

30 Apr 2013 15:49:20
Dundee United have legal advice from a top brief that the compensation clause in Jackie McNamara's contract with Partick Thistle isn't worth the paper it's written on. The Jags will not receive a penny from the Tannadice club.

24 Apr 2013 18:44:07
Johnny russell looks set to go to one of three catania. celtic or cardiff but dundee united will demand over 1.2million.

hooper and wanyama could be off to liverpool in a 13 million double swoop, celtic will use that money for charlie austin and aaron ramsay (to partner with ledley) however the ramsay deal looks more like a loan opportunity.

Alan hutton and russel martin in a swap deal is becoming more of a possibility.

with liverpool also looking at benteke to partner hooper if sir bite a lot leaves

Ramsey will never play football in Scotland. terrible league

25 Apr 2013 10:06:59
If Benteke leaves it will be for a Europa league club at least.

25 Apr 2013 18:27:39
Ramsay would play in the SPL for the champions league (celtic got as far as any english team) also maybe terrible league but he isn't so great himself.

I think you'll find the fee for Wanyama would be close to 13mil on his own, then the 5-6 for hooper!

22 Apr 2013 23:34:32
Cardiff - Kevin Mcnaughton not to be offered new contract with Cardiff with both Derby and sheff wed interested and already spoke to his agent.
Cardiff - are looking into the possibility of a £5 million double swoop for dundee united pair johnny russell and mackay-steven.
Dundee united to offer sandaza a 6 month contract and make a wishful bid for noel hunt.

Liverpool will look at celtic pair wanyama and hooper probably the most likely to get the pair for playing reasonings

Norwich to go for agbonlahor or wiesmen of villa and a possible switch deal between the two clubs for hutton and martin with a small amount of cash going to norwich

Weimann too good for Norwich and gabby is villa through and through

Norwich would never sell a first team player to villa. Martin is too good for them.

weimann is their only player I would take for Norwich, and could see it if they go down (which is a possibility, it could come down to the last day v wigan. ) {Ed034's Note - what a strange statement to make. Of course they would, if villa offered the right deal

Noel hunt going to brighton

If wiemann leaves villa he will go to a top 8 team, not norwich

Norwich won't be far from top 8 next year and will take who they want from villa when we send them to the championship

Doubt there would be a deal between Aston Villa and Norwich too soon.

As a Norwich fan I would like to apologise for comments such as "Norwich won't be far from top 8 next year and will take who they want from villa when we send them to the championship".
We'll buy who we can afford, Villa even in the championship ARE a bigger club than us.

As a Norwich fan there are several players I would love to see us sign from Villa. Who wouldn't take Benteke? Lowton is a good but came to Prem League a season too soon. Westwood will come good given time. They have talent they just didn't put it together. I would rather see them down because next season they will put it together.

24 Apr 2013 00:05:23
"Weimann too good for Norwich and gabby is villa through and through" that's absolutely rubbish, Weimann isn't anywhere near a top 6 team player yet norwich would be the perfect move for him should villa go down. and gabby has already said he wants to stay in the perm regardless.

Lowton and westwood could probably use a season in the championship so there goes that.
benteke will command a 12m+ value, but AW will only be around 5-7.

and who brought up club size? me thinks there's a Vile fan pretending to be something he's not.

and RE martin again - he has a good chance of being captain next season. can't see him leaving at all.

ED - I highly doubt it with all the legal shenanigans that's gone on between them and lambert/villa
+ I Can't see villla having the money to make the right offer for martin {Ed034's Note - there will be nothing legal in place which will say villa cannot bid for players, the only thing that might be is a gentleman's agreement.
you are right with regards to the money but if they did have it, I am sure that Norwich would look at it as they would any other offer

Seem to be confusing Chris Martin who will probably go to Derby at end of season and Russ Martin who will, I think, stay at NCFC - possibly as club captain.

18 Apr 2013 08:29:53
Dundee United have signed Paul Paton and Chris Erskine on pre season contracts from Partick Thistle.

17 Apr 2013 22:18:59
Dundee United could bring back striker Francisco Sandaza as Jon Daly looks to leave this summer. Also, if Dundee get relegated, United will bring in John Baird and possibly Nicky Riley. With Hearts and all their financial problems, Dundee united could sign or loan in a couple of the Jambos with names like, Andrew Driver, Andreas Novikovas and Mehdi Taouil on Tangerines radar!

Andrew Driver does not play for Hearts

29 Mar 2013 17:11:34
Dundee United's jon daly to sign for rangers as free agent, waiting for rangers to offer terms

27 Feb 2013 13:06:10
Paul Paton, captain of Partick Thistle, has signed a pre-contract with Dundee United to join them in the summer. How many more Jags players will be making the journey to Tannadice?

26 Feb 2013 15:44:37
Derby County summer activity and players we are currently looking at bringing in.

Jacques Maghoma (Burton) - Free
Martyn Waghorn (Leicester) - Free
Harry Forrester (Brentford) - Small fee due to age
Matt Kilgallon (Sunderland) - Free
Marc McNulty (Livingston) - Small fee
Chris Martin (Norwich) - Small fee, out of contract but Norwich have a one year option they will activate to get a fee
Marlon Pack (Cheltenham) - Small fee
Either Aidy White (leeds) or Danny Lafferty (Burnley) for left back for higher 6 digit fee's. if neither of these will be a left back from League One

Also interested in Johnny Russell from Dundee United but face stiff competition which makes a deal highly unlikely!

Outgoings

Ben Davies
Theo Robinson
Nathan Tyson
Conor Doyle
Frank Fielding
Gareth Roberts
James Bailey
Tom Naylor
Callum Ball (Loan)
Mark O'Brien (Loan) - Depending on Barkers progress

Other than frankie and davies leaving, I believe the rest will happen

Frankie will go. Lego is now first choice and Fielding isn't happy about being a number 2. Get his wages off the books, get some funds in and bring a new, young keeper in.

Also Matt Fryatt from Hull City, he has had a terrible injury at Hull and a Hull fan may be able to confirm but if they get promoted to the premier league it is likely they will be looking to offload him.

Fryatt is just the type of player we need!

1. Why would Leicester give away waghorn for free.
And 2. Why would they give him to derby haha.

27 Feb 2013 21:47:01
Waghorn is out of contract this summer and is behind Nugent, Wood, Kane, Vardy and Gallacher so is wanting first team football. Clough has been after him for years. Fryatt is also a target if Waghorn doesn't come.

If Waghorn wants to leave Leicester in search of first team football then he will be on a bosman. Then derby could potentially sign Waghorn on a contract, once he becomes a bosman Leicester can have no influence on where Waghorn will go! So it could be derby county, if he likes the look of the club and the opportunities he might get.

Also Leicester City have a great chance of promotion this season and so if they get promoted Waghorn will be even more inclined to go elsewhere for first team football.

However I presume you are a Leicester fan and so you consider derby county as a local rival and would not like the idea of a good young striker going to them. I am afraid to say I understand derby fans do not see Leicester as rivals. Waghorn would not be, in the eyes of the arrival club, coming from a rival and so they would welcome the move.

So in conclusion you're point that Leicester would not let him go to derby may not be applicable because Leicester may have no influence.

28 Feb 2013 11:50:08
Cloughie going in for Ryan Shotton from Stoke, and to Blackpool for Derby old boy Ian Evatt and utiliy man Kirk Broadfoot. Up front see Waghorn coming in and a move for Burtons' Billy Kee. Robinson / Lee Tomlin swap deal with Peterboro'

going out Tyson (free to Charlton not Millwall!), Naylor to Bradford and Ben Davies to Shrewsbury.

new one year deals for Roberts, Buxton and O' Connor, Callum Ball and Conor Doyle

28 Feb 2013 13:09:27
Scouts were at the Motherwell vs Celtic match last night and were very impressed with Chris Humphrey and Michael Higdon

Ryan Shotton will definitely not sign for Derby County and Shaun Barker is the exact same player as Ian Evatt so there would be no need to sign him.

28 Feb 2013 15:52:38
Would love to see Waghorn, White and a couple of others mentioned but I think the post is very unreliable there's 4 strikers in there and we won't need that many.

28 Feb 2013 19:31:01
Theres only 3 strikers with Martin and Waghorn to replace the outgoing Tyson and Robinson then McNulty more for the u21 team. Maghoma and Forrester wide mids to replace Davies and Doyle, Pack a centre mid to replace Bailey then a left back to replace Roberts and Kilgallon in to replace Naylor in defence. Clough will then have a strong squad throughout when dealing with injuries and suspensions.

25 Feb 2013 15:23:09
Dundee and Dundee United are set to share a stadium at Dens Park. John Bennett who resigned from the board of Dundee United recently and previously held a role at Dundee is behind the plan. The plan will expand the capacity of Dens by adding in a new stand at the south side. Dundee have no say in this due to the ownership of the stadium being held by Bennett and Stephen Thompson is interested in selling Tannadice to fund the youth development program.

Also a full merger could be on the cards but it is not likely at this stage as the challenges are seen as too large for both sides to overcome,

Bennett will NOT take over Dundee as some supporters of both clubs believe.

It's not conceivable that they would ground share Dens, a dilapidated throwback to a football age gone by and flatten a relatively recently redeveloped Tannadice which even if they merged wouldn't be filled.

23 Feb 2013 19:20:34
Dundee United are to sign Ex Sweden under 21 defender Marcus Trnstrand

31 Jan 2013 17:17:44
Nigel Clough has admitted there won't be any transfer action before the deadline.
Although he is set to sign 3 in the loan window to see if they fit into the squad before potentially signing them in the summer.
these players are thought to be :
Simeon Jackson from Norwich.
Daniel Fox from Southampton.
And a shock effort for Johnny Russell from Dundee United ( although this is the most ambitious ).

Good luck getting Fox off us, as much as I'd love to be able to say we're in a position to loan him out, he's our only cover at LB for Shaw, so unfortunately I don't think Clough would succeed with that one.

We will pay bus fare for fox if you want him.

Celtic have told tv that the deal will NOT happen. I would be surprised if we bring any one else in now.

You won't get Jackson as although he isn't our 1st choice striker he still provides just enough cover to warrant keeping, the summer may be more fruitful for you though

29 Jan 2013 19:49:30
The interest in Johnny Russell is hotting up as rumours from England suggest Crystal Palace have taken the front row seat ready to offer Dundee United asking price following the sale of Wilfred Zaha. This can ultimately rule out Derby County due to insufficient funds to compete and a inferior league position going forward.

Dundee are reportedly holding out for 1.8 million rising to 2 million (with sell on fee and premier league appearance bonus). With the contingency of championship clubs (huddersfield rumoured interest too, less so recently) wanting to pay maximum 1.5 million.

Time will tell.

May not take him as they are signing george boyd from peterboro, deal almost done just to agree personel terms

Boyd is a different player and has a left foot and can play midfield.Russell is a out and out striker, who should bang the goals in down there.Would be happier if he moved abroad though, and came back in a few years to the EPL.

29 Jan 2013 16:27:46
McNamara to become new Dundee United manager tomorrow
Mrs M

28 Jan 2013 19:10:50
crystal palace are set to complete the signing of wolverhampton wonderers to goal scorer s ebanks blake for £1 million.
Crystal palace have also had a £1.75 million rejected by bristol city for the services of albert adomah.
Crystal palace are also interested in johnny russell from dundee united.

Wolves have rejected Palace bid for SEB

28 Jan 2013 15:46:53
After the departure of Peter Houston from Dundee United many bids will now be tabled to Dundee for Players Mackay Steven and Russell.

Russell is the more valuable of the two players. It is unsure yet as to who will bid but Russell but Celtic and English championship sides are said to have been interested in the player. Notably Derby County and Bolton Wanderers who have in fact had interest in the player previously. The fee at which the bid would be accepted is not clear however nothing below 1.5 million would even be considered.

Russell the more valuable ?

Russell couldn't tie mackay stevens laces

I would have both players at Bolton.

Derby have 3 billionaire investors who wouldn't dream of investing £1.50 on new players let alone £1.5 million, despite one of them investing 500 million in an ice hockey team!

27 Jan 2013 19:34:30
Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway is planning a £1.5million bid for Dundee United winger Johnny Russell.

Russell is a striker though and I doubt Dundee Utd would accept that with the level of interest in him since September when they rejected the same bid

We have the money and he is a very good player from what I have seen so why not

No chance we want £2m....

28 Jan 2013 13:24:49
Russell is a good player, but everyone know's that Dundee Utd are skint.

That should push down the fee to around £750,000.

Dundee will probably accept aroud 1.7 million which obviously we are willing to pay.

20 Jan 2013 12:15:22
Another point, Dundee United don't have £25k to spend on a player

20 Jan 2013 12:14:42
It amazes me how this boy has slipped under my radar. As a Dundee United fan who regularly watches the U20's. Adna regular watcher of the Scotland U21's also, I've never heard of him!

17 Jan 2013 13:01:27
Swindon selling spree to start with James Collins heading to Leicester City for £100,000.
Matt Ritchie should finally tie-up his deal with Bournemouth. Simon Ferry is wanted by Dundee United and a fee of around £25,000 could be enough to sway the cash-strapped Wiltshire outfit.

If you can get simon ferry for 25 gs WIGAN, READING, QPR SHOULD GO FOR HIM.

Jumping on the bandwagon before your in possession of the full facts just like a certain nation radio station.... Trust me Ritchie, for the 100th won't be going to Bournemouth.... Feel free to take Lee Cox and we will even throw in a bit of Perspex in for the away dugout to keep uncle Eddie happy !

Utter rubbish, there will be no fire sale, Swindon do not need to sell anyone they are just looking for new inbestors.

And anyway Ferry is worth 10 times that much and Bournemouth could not afford Ritchie in the Summer and can't now.

And we paid £200k for Collins why would we take half that now?

Obviously a rival fan, probably an Oxford fan on a wind up.

£25000? Don't honk so mate! The debt is to the owners, so still technically not desperate to sell! Just looking for a new owners!

Swindon will have a new owner within the next few days, all key members of the squad will stay.

17 Jan 2013 18:32:08
although i agree we may see departures from the county ground, youre going to need to stick another 0 on those fees

Ritchie to afcb eh, not this old chestnut again, give it a rest, this rumour's been going on and on and on forever, not going to happen, swindon's financial problems or not

We don't need Ritchie, wer're getting a much better player in 18 year old Ryan Fraser

You can keep Ritchie as AFCB will hopefully be signing a far better prospect in Ryan Fraser tomorrow.... UTCIAD

Nonsense. Believe me if Richie was avialable the queue of championship clubs would be round the block

AFCB aren't signing Ritchie. We're on the verge of signing Ryan Fraser whose better and IMHO is better than Ritchie for about half the price.

Swindon aren't in debt, they are like 99.9% of other clubs who aren't in debt that their owners have cleared, STFC's owners now want to sell the club and "Cut their loses", They want something "marketable", so they wn't be selling Richie, Williams or Collins. The players they want to move on are Benson and Cox. Why we bought Cox in the first place is beyond me, I don't think PDC realised how poor Scottish football is.

PDC has also put a not for sale sign above most of his team so don't expect any movement unless new owners or investors are found before the deadline.

Remember you're signing an SPL player who aren't that great, I'd put them on par with MLS.

Ok then he isn't that great? The scouting teams at reading, Southampton, QPR, Aston villa, Cardiff and huddersfield must be pretty poor then because we beat them all to his signature

That says it all then if the mighty Bournemouth out muscled prem teams and championship teams

Money talks I'm afraid. Also the chance of first team football would of been a factor

Money may talk but that facts are 1st division club or a premier club. I think If a prem club came in for him he would of jumped at the chance to join.

I doubt if any other team wanted hi, yes they maybe watching him byut that's all.

Swindon are in 13mil worth of debt what are you on about not in debt! Ritchie is not coming so everyone needs to stop think Swindon priced him too high for an offer from a club below the Championship of not Premiership!

Swindon are not in debt 13million get your facts right. We owe £0, the 13million is what our majority share holder wants to sell them for. JEEZ

11 Jan 2013 12:17:46
Connor Woodward, young scottish prospect signs a 2 year deal with Arsenal on his 18th birthday from Dundee United for an undisclosed fee. Connor has 14 goals in 7 appearences for the Scotland U'21 side.

02 Jan 2013 21:49:32
Huddersfield are rumoured to have placed a 2million bid on dundee united striker johnny russel

They don't have 2 million to spend on one player, especially w
ith the 29 different strikers they have on loan

We had a 1.3m bid turned down on deadline day for johnny Russell. but he is worth 2.3m

I think Russell will replace stokes at celtic in January ?

Huddersfield don't have £2mil? Rhodes money I think you're forgetting about...

Town have had 3 strikers on loan, one of which was shot term and has now ended leaving us 2 on loan , as for not having any money , the chairman is worth a few hundred million and Rovers paid us 8 million for rhodes

I carn't see this been true or us getting him as l**ds are most likely to get him and that sounds more realistic as they are bount yo be spending this transfer window

Leeds wont get him as hes TOO YOUNG and NOT on a free transfer !!

Everytime Town get linked with a good player (Johnny Russell) L***s fans get jealous and pretend that they're getting them and not us, just like they did when we signed Beckford and they didn't, so please, BORE OFF.

Love how people think Huddersfield are skint...if Deano wanted he could spend £100m in a week

No he could not. he was on radio saying we have no money to spend

01 Jan 2013 12:49:19
Huddersfield to renew there intrest in dundee united winger gary mackay stevens huddersfield are willing to pay between 1.5mil to 2mil but dundee united are holding out for 2.5mil

Hasn't he been injured for a while now?

He has a broken arm, can't see Town paying big money for a player currently carrying a long term injury.

Not anyone from Dundee look at previous players from Scotland and they haven't really been very good.

I believe its a broken hand and should be fit now

You don't play football with your arm! Sign him up!

Paul dixon is ok , just a daft manager who does not pick him.!

Dixon is a quality full back! Cant stress enough how annoying it is when he is on the bench and Murray Wallace or Callum Woods are starting, ridiculous

19 Dec 2012 15:57:05
Dundee United have taken 24 year old goalkeeper Martin Polacek on trial

12 Nov 2012 15:13:14
Dundee United , Hibernian, Millwall ,Coventry, MK Dons and Charlton Athletic are interested in signing Jason Koumas on a free transfer.

Wasn't there talk during the summer that Koumas was crocked and likely to retire due to injury? Where's he been the last few months?

Training at Sheffield Wednesday and unable to earn a contract because he is past it and a sick note

He was training with Sheff Wed

Yeah, was suspecting that. He's all we need, another Jimmy Bullard. No thank you!

If he is worth more than millwalls whole team, how come you couldn't defeat us at your own ground if he is amazing?

KJ doesn't usually go for players of the Koumas profile.

Jimmy bullard part 2, might aswell give ian wright a start

05 Nov 2012 10:10:03
I expect Owen Coyle to be appointed Blackpool manager within the next few days, here is waht I expect in the january transfer window from Coyle

OUT:

Djezziri- Released
Noguera- Released
Nathan Delfouneso- Recalled
Scott Robertson- Dundee United- £200,000

IN:

Tom Barkhuizen- Recalled
DJ Campbell- QPR- £750,000- when loan at Ipswich ends
Marvin Sordell- Bolton- Season loan

Matt Phillips to stay to the end of the season at least.

Tom Ince to stay anyway

BLACKPOOL ON THE UP

Much too optimistic and unrealistic for Matt Phillips and Ince to stay as Blackpool appear to be in a continuing struggle and there will be better teams, even in the Championship, who will be in for them. They must aspire to improve while regularly playing.

26 Oct 2012 14:41:38

Peterborough United ins- Nathaniel Knight -Percival- Wrexham , Danny Swanson-Dundee United , Jonson Clarke-Harris-Coventry , Robert Olejink-Torquay , Nick Powell LOAN-Man Utd , Luke Freeman + Michael Bostwick -Stevenage , Jon Daly -Dundee United also close to signing , Daniel Nardellio and John Fleck

You were doing fine untill you got onto thr Powell loan, all down hill a bit from there though.

Charlton Athletic want John Fleck, and play in the championship. And can offer him more money.Even Sheff Utd and Coventry in league one, could offer him more money than Dundee United. All they can sway him with is Europe. And he has had that already with Rangers. If he actually got on the pitch.

So how are Dundee going to sign Nardiello who joined Rotheram?

Peterborough's summer spending is being funded by the sales of Paul Taylor £2.5m, George Boyd £1.5m, David Ball £250k, Nicky Ajose £250k, Mark Little £200k all this is on top of the January sale of Ryan Bennett to Norwich £4.5m. Posh have also got high earner Joe Lewis off the wage bill and there chairman Darragh MacAnthony has also made additional funds available on top of any sales and have already attracted Danny Swanson from Dundee United to Posh, they really could go very well next season as they always recruit well. A lot of clubs are starting to copy The Posh's transfer policy of signing young and hungry players and selling them for big profits. For me Posh are dark horses for the play offs next season and are a club clearly on the up.

Derby County News Update

Michael Jacobs will be joing derby after he confessed to Local Papers/people that he will be leaving for derby.

Krystian Pearce is transfer listed at 135k derby have offered 120k

Derby have offered a contract to Karleigh Osbourne who has also recieved contracts from Charlton and Nottingham Forest

Paul dixon will not be signing for the rams after his contract demands proofed to much for what we would offer him
so he will be poised to sign for Bristol city should no-one else make contact.

Therefore derby have stepped up their chase on Joe mattock who is free after his release from west brom
but derby face competiton from Brighton who are keen to keep him.

Targets who will be bidded for later on are

Daniel Powell
Fegor Ogude
Andrew tutte
Ashley Westwood
Johnny Russell
Will GriggTrials will be on as normal to the Public but derby have given 9 youngsters trials after their release from clubs.
5 of them used to apply their trade in france one being well known Striker Yannis Tafer after his release from OL
Frank Nouble and Nigel Hasselbienk have also been offered trials.

As far as Transfers going out

Steve davies and James Bailey are the the subject of a 2.5 million bid made by Burnley after the jay rod deal has gone
through. They will replace the missing Jay rod and Dean Marney.

Coventry and Bristol City have enquired about Miles Addison

Watford,Sheffield Wednesday and Dundee united have Enquired about Striker Chris Maguire. The First two had bids Rejected.

Nigel wants to use chris + cash to get a decent striker with his main focus towards Johnny Russell.Especially with them
interested in chris.

Derby county will not be buying anyone over the age of 25 but might get a old free transfer for experience. As derby still want
keep their policy of bringing in Youth Players with Will Hughes to play cover for Hendrick and Bryson.I will give another update on Monday when i heard Derby will approach Mk dons about Daniel powell which i have been told by people involed
that Ben davies will be involed. If that Fails They will try getting Jon Taylor. As Shrewsbury want ben davies.

Please Reply if you have any Information.

Thank you

Derby are to get strikers Johnny
Russell an Jamie Murphy.

Even though Jamie Murphy has said
Somthing about champions league
football the club knows and he knows
they get past the first round. He also
in another interview about his passion
to play in the Premier Legaue and
Derby are set to give him the platform

It was originally Russell and Daly but
dundee united dont want to loose
all their players and Clough thinks
staying to rule of having a young
squad will work better

23 May 2012 22:07:34
Derby county are going to have extra
funds to buy players with but the
majority will go to the clubs
loan investors.

Steve davies-Asking price of 1.4m
Chris maguire-Asking price of 575k
James bailey-Asking price 800k

If Derby manage to sell any of these
a small sum will be added to Nigel

To alert Derby county fans to Nigels

If Dundee united Make an official Bid

This is all true.I have not said apart
fegor ogude that any of these players have

£500 000 FOR Johnny Russell, please get real. The guys EPL quality and tied down to a good deal with years left to go.Its not a Goodwilliw situation with a year left on his deal.So they let him go cut price for £2 million.Russell has just made his first Scotland squad. And is worth so much more.Better player to and can play up front alone. And is better in the air than Goody

>20 goal a season striker
>Jon Daly
>wat
