Dennis Rommedahl began his career in Denmark with Lyngby FC In 1996 he moved to PSV Eindhoven and made two appearances in his first season there and then had a year long loan stint at RKC Waalwijk between 1997-1998

When he returned to PSV he became a first team regular. Rommedahl is also a Denmark International and scored both goals in Denmark's 2-1 triumoph over Germany in 1999 Rommedahl also hit the target for his country in the 2002 World Cup where Denmark beat France 2-0
