He was a graduate of Manchester United's Youth Academy, who joined Watford originally last season on loan before making a permanent switch to the Hornets. He joined United at the age of 10 and made his debut for them in a defeat at the Stadium of Light to Sunderland. He has had a spell on loan at Port Vale while he was still a United player, and is an England U20 international.
