Clarence Seedorf played for Sampdoria as a teenager previous to his Ajax move where he made a name for himself.
Seedorf became the first player to win the Champions League with three different clubs (Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan)after Milan's win last season. The Dutch international saw protests from the Rossoneri fans after his arrival in the summer of 2002.
Clarence Seedorf has a reputation for being outspoken, to the point of beating Fernando Hierro up in the showers because "he did not listen when I spoke," said Seedorf. He also used to interrupt Real coach Fabio Capello's team talks to give his opinions. 81% of Dutch fans wanted him dropped from their Euro 2000 squad.
A very successful player - Seedorf won the Dutch League in 1994 with Ajax, the Champions League, Dutch League, European Super Cup and World Club Cup in 1995, also with Ajax. With Real Madrid he won the Spanish League in 1997 and Champions League and World Club Cup in 1998. Though his run of success dried up while he was at Inter Milan.
