Los Angeles defender Tyrone Marshall says the squad will have to pick up the slack with right back regular Chris Albright on the sidelines with a hamstring injury for 6-8 weeks.
The U.S. international will require surgery and Marshall is already counting the days until he returns.
"It's a really big loss," the veteran told L.A. Soccer News.
"Chris is one of those guys in the back that you need back there. He brings us leadership, he helps us by getting forward and back. I've played with Chris for the last five years and not seeing him back there is going to be a tremendous loss," asserted Marshall.
"For me, I just hope he has a speedy recovery and hope he gets back before the season ends and getting back there so we can play together again."

Los Angeles mainstay Chris Albright has swatted down talk that he is set to be dealt to FC Dallas in a package for former Galaxy star Carlos Ruiz.
"Rumours are always going to be prevalent," he told L.A. Soccer News. "As far as I know, I'm here for now."
While the speculation may perturb some, the right-sider is taking it all in stride.
"We get to play soccer for a living and there are a lot of benefits that come with that," noted Albright.
"There are some issues that we have to deal with that aren't so pleasant, but we're lucky enough to be professional soccer players and it just comes along with the territory."
