Feb 11 2003: Hull City are to discipline Stuart
Green after he broke club regulations. The club rule state
that all players not in the squad have to attend home games
unless they have permission - Green failed to turn up for
the match and then was supposedly spotted at Carlisle's
match (Carlisle having been Hull's rivals for
his signature in the summer).
Feb 5 2003: 19 year old Carlisle
winger, Stuart Bell, has been forced to retire from football
due to a bad knee cartilage injury.
Jan 16 2003: Watford striker Nick Wright is joined
Bristol Rovers for a weeklong trial. The 27 year old former Carlisle
United and Derby County player joined Watford in the
summer of 1998 but has found first team games difficult to
come by lately.
