Feb 12 2003: Bradford City have
taken 3 players on trial, they are Canadian international
Brad Parker, Michael Simpkins (a 24 year old defender who
was recently released by Cardiff) and 20 year old Man U
winger Ben Muirhead.
Feb 3 2003: Scarborough manager, Russell Slade,
has changed his mind about quitting the job. He had decided
to leave to take the youth team coach's job at Bradford
City, but he is now going to stay at Scarborough.
Feb 1 2003: Scarborough manager Russell Slade has
resigned his job in order to become youth team coach at Bradford.
Jan 31 2003: Bradford have had their
administration order lifted today.
The Bantams have also
signed Danish keeper Stefan Magnusson until the end of the
season.
Jan 27 2003: Dundee United have signed 2
defenders, Andy Tod on loan and Gary Bollan in a permanent
deal from Livingston.
Tod comes in because his club, Bradford
City, can't afford to pay Dunfermline Athletic the
£25,000 they would owe them if he made one more appearance
for the Bantams first team.
Jan 16 2003: Middlesborough have completed a loan
move for Coventry City's midfielder John Eustace. The 23
year old has joined with a view to a permanent move.
On the other side of the coin, Dean
Windass has left Boro for Sheffield United on a free
transfer. The 33 year old ex Hull, Aberdeen, Oxford United, Bradford
City and Sheffield Wednesday forward cost Boro
£600,000 in March 2001.
