Kevin-Prince Boateng has hit out at the way Hertha Berlin is being run, only hours after completing his transfer to Spurs.
The 20 year old says that there is an air of authority around the club which effectively convinced him to leave when Spurs came knocking, inspite of his affinity for the Bundesliga outfit.
"It (the club) is still close to my heart, however I do not have a good feeling about them," he informed the Berliner Morgenpost newspaper.
"The ones who created an atmosphere have gone and soon there will only be soldiers at Hertha who stand up straight and nod their heads."
Indeed, since new coach Lucien Favre arrived in the summer, the major transfer activity was players leaving.
Yildiray Basturk has moved to champions Stuttgart, whilst Christian Gimenez left Wednesday for Mexican club Toluca.
Ashkan Dejagah and Christopher Schorch have also moved on whilst Kevin's brother Jerome is close to signing for Hamburg.
Meanwhile, only Lucio Carlos and goalie Jaroslav Drobny have arrived.
"I hope the people responsible can find several more players after people were only leaving recently," added Boateng.
"They have enough money through all the players they have sold."
However, Berlin now belong to Boateng's history and the Germany U19 midfielder is looking forward to rediscovering a pleasant atmosphere inside the changing rooms at White Hart Lane.
He said, "Spurs have a different attitude. They deal with young players differently and have given me the feeling of being wanted. I did not have that in Berlin. I think that Hertha know my departure is a loss for them. They only do not want to admit it. That is what hurts me the most, that they can only let me leave like this."

Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath has made Edin Dzeko his 6th new signing since taking over from Klaus Augenthaler earlier this month.
The 21 year old forward signed a 4 year contract and Magath described the player as "one for the future."
"Edin Dzeko is a hot prospect who has taken a huge step forward in his development in the last year and has pushed his way into the Bosnia national team," mentioned Magath.
Dzeko makes the move from Czech club FK Teplice and joins Ashkan Dejagah, Vlad Munteanu, Sergiu Radu, Daniel Baier and Sascha Riether in a new-look Wolfsburg team for next season.
The Wolves start their pre season training campaign Wednesday afternoon with a light work out at the Volkswagen Arena.
