Hull were boosted by the news that Boaz Myhill puts pen to paper on a new 3 year contract at the KC Stadium.
The former Villa shot stopper was at the centre of speculation over his future, having been in contract negotiations with Hull officials for the last 3 months.
Myhill would have been able to leave the club for free at the end of the current season, however Hull have persuaded the keeper to sign an extension until June 2010.
Phil Brown and the board will now turn their attentions to the other players out of contract next summer, which include Andy Dawson, Stuart Elliott, Stephen McPhee, Ryan France, Sam Collins and Danny Coles.
