Chelsea boss Avram Grant was content with his side's display in the 2-0 victory at Middlesbrough, as he continues to try and change the Blues' approach to a more attacking one.
Goals from Didier Drogba and Alex gave the Blues a comfortable win, with Grant starting to stamp his mark on the team following the recent departure of Jose Mourinho.
He said afterwards: "Yes. I have an obligation for this (attacking football). This is the right way in modern football, there is no other way. Of course, you need to win games, but the way to the winning is also important, not like it was before. I want to look forward. As you know, I have full respect for the past here. I am looking only for the positives from the past. We are trying from this base to change a little bit, even more than a little bit, and do it my way. We will do it my way, but I will not even say one negative word about the past because I don't have negatives to say about it."

Chelsea are waiting on the fitness of John Terry ahead of tomorrow's Champions League match with Valencia, but Frank Lampard has been ruled out.
Centre-back Terry suffered a facial injury during Saturday's draw with Fulham, and Chelsea coach Avram Grant will see how he fares during tonight's training session before making a decision on his availability.
Terry trained at Valencia's Mestalla stadium with a face mask on after undergoing surgery on Sunday on the broken cheekbone he sustained against Fulham.
Grant has confirmed that Lampard will definitely sit the game out though as the England midfielder continues to recover from his thigh injury.
Midfielder Michael Essien, who scored a last-minute winner for Chelsea to knock Valencia out of last season's Champions League, has also been battling a leg injury but he took part in training tonight.
Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri is looking to take advantage of the precarious situation at his former club Chelsea by launching a January transfer bid for Brazilian defender Alex.
The summer recruit from PSV Eindhoven is believed to be furious after bring dropped by new Blues boss Avram Grant during Sunday's 2-0 defeat by Manchester United.
Grant took over as Chelsea manager last week after the shock departure of Jose Mourinho. For the Premiership match at Old Trafford, Grant decided to pick his old Israel protege Tal Ben Haim ahead of Alex and the Brazilian believes that Ben Haim will always be picked ahead of him as the ex-Bolton stopper is very close to the coach.
Juventus are in desperate need of at least one centre-back after star defender Jorge Andrade was virtually ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking his kneecap during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Roma.
A host of stoppers have been linked with the Bianconeri, including the likes of Bransilav Ivanovic, Diego Lugano, Tomas Ujfalusi, Luigi Di Biagio and ex-Juve man Lilian Thuram.
In England the Daily Mail is today reporting that Ranieri will bid for Alex in January and is confident of getting his man due to all the confusion and disarray at his former club.
