A second-minute strike from central defender Roger gave Fluminense their first Copa Brasil title on Wednesday with a 1-0 win over Figueirense.
Adriano Magrao, who scored a last-minute equaliser in the 1-1 first leg, delivered a cross to the unmarked Roger, who brought the ball down and fired home from inside the area.
Figueirense threw players into the attack in search of an equaliser, and striker Victor Simoes almost found one when his shot glanced off the crossbar after a neat passing move.
Fluminense continued to absorb pressure before Alex Dias came close to adding a second goal when he escaped his marker and shot wide of the post.
